    fav anime

anime is not about one specific anime you have to appreciate the art of all anime.. but if i had to pick i would have to say jin roh(wolf brigade) is very good. the whole red riding thing could do with out but......the story was great and the outcome was nice. another anime i would have to say was good would have to be gundum wing and gundum 0080 series i love those. the zoe movie not series is pretty good as well. i think when zoe 2 comes out it will be a great hit. berserk is also a awesome anime blue sub 6 is a good series too. ill stop now! there is no such thing as a fav anime just depends on what your taste's are and what your into.

hmm... I've been into anime all of my life, since I was born really, because I'm half Japanese and half American, I got the benefit of two cultures' languages and television

when I was younger I really really loved all of Miyazaki Hayao and Studio Ghibli's work, particularly Laputa, Castle in the Sky and Nausicaa of the Valley of Wind, this is back over 10 years ago or so, I think Nausicaa might still be my favorite anime movie

I spent a lot of my childhood watching tapes I got/brought back from Japan of anime, with classic series like Kimba, the white lion and others like Biikuri-man (imagine a show about super-deformed magical samurai angels trying to find heaven and fighting the forces of evil, dang that show was entertaining for an 8 year old) I watched a lot of live action Japanese shows too, like faibu-man and chenji-man (5-men and Change-men, respectively) they're pretty much the predecessors to the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers

I don't think I could ever really choose a favorite anime, though, I have seen far too many that are good in their own way to make a judgment like that, although recently I've been enjoying Crest of the Stars (not the dub  ), Naruto, and Haibane Renmei, along with other popular series like SaiKano and X

my forum name and avatar are of Casval Daikun, or Char, the Red Comet, or as he was known in that picture, Quattro Bagina, the character from Mobile Suit Gundam, so that's up there with my favorites too (pretty much all of gundam that follows the original story or is a side story of the original)
        Lakshmi - Tetto - Mithra Female - RDM73 - MNK49 - BLM38 - WAR35 - BST42 - Rng 32 - THF29 - PLD27 - WHM25 - NIN19 - SAM19 - San d'Oria - Rank 10

My favorite anime is by far Rurouni Kenshin but i also like Chobits alot. I started getting into anime when my friend showed me a music video for Kenshin. I then watched the series and other shows as well. I havent been a fan for that long like 2 years but ive seen and read so much in that time. Its crazy.

            CARTOON NETWORK WILL FALL!!!!!!!
(anyone interested in going on a little "road trip" to CN HQ contact me) lol

(will need: Guns, Explosives and Kevlar Vests(just in case)
            Have a nice day!

I think I first started anime in elementary school around grade 5 or so because I had many cantonese friends that were into dragon ball Z I enjoyed watching their tapes in cantonese dub (to think about it now, its horrible ) The I started watching sailor moon on tv because that was the only anime we had here. My mom's shop got robbed one day, and she had some of my sister's Disney VHS tapes that were stolen so from the insurance we bought some back for her but some where out of circulation so we bought totoro (dubbed) and I enjoyed that a lot (what got me into ghibli stuff). Also, I think I started watching pokemon and digimon when it first came out for like a year on tv (again no other anime here >_>) and then gundam wing and part of escaflowne. I started downloading fansubs off the internet around 3 years ago and started buying anime dvds around 2 years ago... Id have to say my favourite anime is Hana Yori Dango (too bad it ends around in the manga volume 18 when it is still continuing to around 33 today V_V) I enjoy a lot of other shonen, shoujo, even some kiddie stuff, just nothing that has people guts exploding out of their bodies when they get a paper cut

i was in elementary school when i first watched ranma 1/2. i think it was 5th grade? after my virgin eyes were raped by the topless girl ranma scenes, i continued to watch animes and read manga for the next 10 years...but from the looks of things i'm not as avid a fan i thought myself to be.
