Does anyone have any sad anime pics?

I'm looking for pictures with singe characters looking distressed, lonlely, sad, anything of that nature. I've been searching on the net but have hardly found anything. I found this Lain wallpaper that I can use as an example.

If you have anything I would much appreciate it if you would share it.

Oooo I like the Asuka pic, she was such a lonely little girl. I totally forgot about this thread, but glad you guys gave me some pics. Been working on my anime sketching lately and need some inspiration!!

I'll have to look into the .hack anime, I bought the first game but never beat it....if anyone has anything else feel free to contribute!!

Hmm if they got a pic of when spike brings that lady the plant to cure her eyes after Roko dies. . . that'd be sad and when he makes his hand like a gun and says 'bang' that'd be sad, oh and from the movie any random pics of golden butterflies could be sad lol.

Sad moments and looks on peoples faces in animes?

Ooh man. You can't go through a good manga/anime without one

of those parts.. Lemme think of a recent one..

In FLCL when Naota and Haruko were sitting on the bed and

Naota starts crying and hugs Haruko and goes "Why did you

leave.." Now thats a sad part... Just about anywhere in the Hack

series you will see Tsukasa torn up.

Mmm.. Cowboy Bebop, when Spike went bang with his finger and

died, that was sad... And when Julia died.

Hmmm...Trigun has some sad stuff.. Ugh.. Boy, I need to catch up

on my Manga. >.<

Seems to be lots of pics of sad characters or characters longing for something in S-cry-ed. Heck his closest and just about only friend dies just around when you see how close the two are.

Or Boogiepop Phantom the actual Boogiepop and her "Phantom" both have a sad expression on their faces (I probably would to if I was viewed as the Angel of Death). Actually the entire Boogiepop Phantom series is story after story of many sad or very dark situations that happens to multiple characters, all derived from one moment that it built up to and the aftermath of that single moment (Warning: Boogiepop Phantom will confuse the heck out of you if you do not watch all of it's series, the big story lying in all the little ones is pieced together by the little ones).

Please Teacher is another one. Story were a boy with an unusual condition that he calls "Stand-stills" and an alien girl who's been sent to observe the planet, as part of her cover becomes a teacher, end up falling in love. Because of events there are quite a few moments were they have that longing type expression.

Someday's Dreamers is another one that has a few sad expressions in it. Even Last Exile has a few in it as well haven't seen all of it yet only the first 6 espisodes.

Ruroni Kenshin should have some sad expressions in it or Samurai X (Ruroni Kenshin still). Fatal Fury the movie has some, Armitage III: polymatrix and even Armitage: Dual Matrix (Armitage III is the first even though the names seem to say otherwise). Ghost in the Shell has quite a few sad expressions. Forget it's name but Hanibane or something like that looks like one that would have the same.

Just like everyone else here said any image of Tsukasa and you'll get a sad image, even some with Subaru will have sad images.

There should be tons and tons of anime's you can look up and find sad expressions with.

I've got about 3 big boxes full of anime's if I ever remember when I'm home I'll see about clipping a few images to post here.
