i remeber a show on the old adult swim ( couple years ago almost) about a kid on a space ship school thing, his name was i think zero but the teachers called him "number 88" that was his id tattoo thing on his wrist, and his friend was a mithraish chick. whats this called!? i loved it but cant remember the name for the life of me lol :confused:

i thought it was pretty good minus the bad english, the frequent frame pausing, but none the less i thought it was cool

The original japanese name was "Candidate for Goddess." Due to "religious" reasons, Cartoon Network had the name for the US distribution changed to "Pilot Candidate"

The DVDs are available through Bandai, I believe.

Yeah, that's what they were called. I hate it that Adult Swim only showed the first 8 episodes then stopped showing it.

Megami Kouhousei (Candidate for Goddess) was a short series orginally. Short, but rather good.

Now, if only CN/Adult Swim would show something like City Hunter or Kidou Keisatsu Patlabor....
