  • Question About DragonBall GT

    ok ive seen all GT and stuff, and i know that its a old show that in japan or something stopped further episodes in 1997, anyways soon after the end of GT there was that lil special with Goku Jr, and Vegeta Jr fighting in the world tournament, anyways my question is, would it still be possible for Akira Toriyama to make another dragonball? after soooo long, i mean it has been long since that happened, but people are still loving DB Series, but would Akira still be the lead of the new dragonball show if it would come out? like for example in DragonBall Z i think he was the one who leaded the whole DBZ thing but in DBGT he was just a ..i forgot but he wasnt leading DBGT, but would it be possible to atleast make a new Dragonball? i mean a REAL one not like DragonBall AF that its all fake and all. Im sure that its a no, but its worth a try to hear comments :sweat:

        There's a rumor going around that Akira Toriyama died in a car crash...I'm pretty sure he's still alive, though I doubt he'll do another DB.

          Akira actualy died 3 or 4 years ago... The GTs was made by the small groupe who worked on DBZ with him... This is why the manga style was differing a little...

          PS Sorry for my english :sweat:
          ...I'm only doing what my Rice Crispies told me to.

            Thats a lie. He did not die three or four years ago. Akira wanted DB to end with DBZ. Bust some fans had some good ideas, so he gave them the rights to make a DBGT. -_-;;

                To my knowlege, Popoie is right. Akira was at least alive when it was in production because he did the character design.

                    I don't think they should make another dbz.. for one the series is long enough as it is.. with db, dbz, AND dbgt.. it's way to long and got boring.. dbgt sucked.. kinda.. well, I don't like dbz anymore.. maybe that's why :dead:

                      From what I've heard, Dragonball GT is now on DVD in the US. Or it might be early next month they're coming out. Either way, I'm sure there'll be plenty more Dragonball to come in America. Thankfully, they let the series die after GT. Dragonball will always be a classic, Dragonball Z will always be the some-what classic continuation that got kinda boring after the first 600000000 episodes, and Dragonball GT will always be the horrible failure of an attempt to pump out more money from a tired old series.

                        Akira couldn't be dead, in fact he was in New York just a couple months ago. And while he was in New York he said so himself that he's not interested in Dragonball anymore. And in my opinion, DBGT sucks because it is all filler. You guys should read Akira's other mangas, they're pretty good too.
