I'd also keep a close eye on Scholar this update, as they seem to be receiving some . . . interesting stuff. Including native Aquaveil/Blink/Stoneskin/Spikes finally? . . . well, I guess the first three give Black Mages no reason not to use /SCH any more . . .

It's not all bad. Now RDM/NIN have extra chances to recast Utsusemi even when shit breaks through Stoneskin. It's not what you wanted but some Avesta-type out there is thankful.

As for me, I'm kind of amused that SE's idea of making melee jobs grow is giving them more traits and buff JAs instead of actually giving them more interesting things to...well, do.

NINs don't need anything more when Dual Wield has increasing returns and SE doesn't see any problems with giving them more of that.

If we do get Bliz, do you think we’d need Emp legs+2? The Oboron NM for the +2 items is quite easy…but I haven been able to kill the frog much

According to other discussions (and if you look at the Automaton Magic list vs the BLM magic list), you'll see that we generally get a spell at the same time as (Aero V) or 1-2 (all other spells post 75) levels after the BLM gets it. It'll probably require Merits, possibly the +1 legs. The +2 legs will help out in any case... there's really no reason not to wear them. +5 skill trumps the magic acc you get from relic legs.

And I don't have the +2 legs yet. Cirein also isn't the best boss for those -- Sobek can drop up to three at once, and he's not very difficult from my experience/group. Sobek is also easier to pop, from my experience. The only problem you'd have is out-lotting other people for the items (currently 3/6 after 4-5 kills)

True. SCH kind of make WHM and BLM obsolete and it makes me cry a little inside.

Oh well. At least I can sprout black wings and fly for a moment. It's no frog, but it'll do.
