The white magic spell Refresh will not work with the Scholar ability Accession.

Seeing as RDM can already do this as of the update, they likely would have mentioned it in the notes (unless it's coming in an emergency update)

Accession Refresh isn't something I'd worry about. But in that case I'd expect to see both Refresh II and Ballad 3 implemented as well.

I dunno refresh is hardly as universally useful as haste is. I also have a feeling that it comes down to the fact haste ca be casted outside of a party. Either way its not that big of a deal. (also i have a feeling that SE wants SMN to have some sort of identity still in the sense that they have had hastega forever.)

RDM got by fine with single casting Haste and SCH didn't even have it at all.) They didn't mention Refresh...

Well, I can get my foot in the door, I just can't open it. Connection fails after downloading the .exe patch file. You'd think they would have made this easier after 8 years. If they can get off their butt to chance the splash screens, surely they could do something about the connectivity.

And lucky me when I capped SAM EXP in that merit PT yesterday I racked up about 4 merits ^^ so I'm good to go. Just pop maat's cap and I'm all set.

For a second I thought "You need Maat's Cap?! Brutal!"

But then my brain caught up.

Would have been funny as hell though (although I probably would have unsubscribed, no time to level 12 more maat's cap jobs before participating in anything post-75).

Also, I second the idea about WoE, that it better have some way to tell how much is left if you're going to use up an item you can only recover once per vana'diel day (not to mention the mention of paying for it, I wonder what you use for payment, AN?) Something like "Time remaining: 12 min. Enemies remaining: 7. Enter? (Y/N)" -- because the time alone isn't reliable if a large group can take down all the enemies in substantially less than the maximum time.


P.S. Insert obligatory whine about how everyone else isn't allowed to step on SMN's toes with Hastega. (Including me twice over, as RDM/SCH and SCH/WHM, but w/e. RDM got by fine with single casting Haste and SCH didn't even have it at all.) They didn't mention Refresh, but there's rarely more than 2-3 refresh users anyway (counting the RDM, who is only part of the cycle 1/3 of the time with Composure up) so I doubt it would see much use outside of event parties like BLMx4, COR, RDM/SCH. (Eventually SCH/RDM)

Pretty happy with my decision to quit last month after seeing everything that's come of today. Like I expected, like 85% of my count was completely obsoleted in one patch despite me having a pretty high-end character with 6 years of time and effort put into it.

I do feel odd reading update notes knowing that I won't actually see any of the stuff, these days used to be like Christmas morning for me. This is also the first update since I became a BG mod so I actually have to read through loads and loads of crap, busy day despite not having the same personal interest in the actual content.

I just made 3 merits last night and was going to spend it on WAR. Glad I didn't.... lol

Naturally, I can't get in to get the update; bottle-necked as of the moment.

May this update be a return to BLM's and Bursting ( Plz Plz Plz) and may RNG forever remain the undisputed champion of all things DD. And... "Just throw a bunch of RNG/WARs at it," be the newest and upcoming tokened phrase.

However, someone told me about a parse this one shell did from DYNA on a WHM/NIN that was wielding Myjollnir/KC during Dyna and outparsed every other DD there. So, maybe we can throw a bunch of WHM/NIN at it instead............. or better yet, WHM/DNC? lollermuffins

And GRRRRR I traded in 10 K-seals before I logged off so I could have the inventory space back!

pretty sure you can request them back...unlike Ancient Beast coins...
