I stand corrected.
Rather, I should have reiterated. They shouldn't have stated that it was DDOS attacks, but instead said that there was a huge SHITTON load on the servers due to everyone and their mom being idiots.
You know what I mean.. Your connection doesn't work to the update server.. So instead of coming back in an hour or two, you spam the "Retry" button. I'm guilty of it myself, but I know better than to get bent out of shape right after an update. (lol..)
And I don't hold SE responsible to make a larger backbone for throughput either because after you wait a day or two, the problem sorts itself out anyway..
Hopefully they're taking notes for when they make another MMO..
