Well Phoenix was speculated as being the next summon released, but as the videos don't show any evidence of phoenix it took some fuel out of that idea. I still hope to see phoenix at some point, however.

That's true. I've never completely understood SE's policy of surprise. On one level surprise is certainly fun, and allows players to 'own' a little more of the game by discovering these things for themselves, but only a few players will actually experience the surprise of discovering new content before it ends up all over the fansites.

I'm not saying SE should release spoilers for its own games, but if another developer were to release an expansion they would be fairly specific about exactly the types of new things to expect.

Suffice to say a little mystery is always a good marketing idea, but too much mystery can be problematic.
SE has the power to do whatever they like in terms of mystery and marketing strategy, however, since they have such a solid fanbase.

Ya know, I just thought of something. What if the big guy at the end isnt odin at all but the leader of the new armored gigas looking guy? That could change a lot.

I watched the Hi Quality QT ones, interesting. I suspect SE has a ton of work to do in the next couple weeks with regards to Puppetmaster. I was unimpressed with the Puppetmaster's part in the fight agains Trion and the other twp NPCs.

I downloaded the fight you were talking about and was able to see only 2 mins of 9 (had to go) the PUP didn't do much I really hope their main weapon is H2H if so they would need to sub mnk to be effective at this and this would limit the job.

The blu is stupid IS SE TRYING TO MAKE THE SUSPENSE WORSE BY HAVING IT CAST SPELLS AND KNOW IT WILL BE INTERRUPTED SO WE CAN BARELY KNOW WHAT TO EFFING EXPECT?!

The looks of the animation looked like it started out like a sic command or wyren breath about to start only that it was blue instead of the orange(storing energy animation) then when it is about to fire a 3 blue wind symbol forms in front and disapears when the spell is fully cast

I don't think Pups HAVE a main weapon in the traditional sense, if they did it would have been shown when they were released. Both Blu and Cor clearly have a weapon and every time you see them they have something, but nothing for Pup. If Pup's best weapon was H2H I'm sure they would have at least given it a pair of knuckles or something. That leaves me with two thoughts, either A) the puppet itself IS the weapon, and equiped in said slot or B) pup gets no weapon and relies on the puppet to do everything.

As for the heros fight Vid, that was more to show off Blu then anything, the pup was just a cameraman. Though the person playing Blu kinda sucked and seemed to spam bombtoss more then show off all their skills. But from how I see it, they don't plan on showing off all the new jobs abilities, just Blu's. The reason for this is Blu uses pre-existing skills and when a fan sees that they can use a skill they know of it will help build excitment. They like making fans find things out for themsleves so they'll prolly leave fans to figure out the talents of Blu and Cor on their own.

well, I don't think the BLU was getting interrupted on purpose. I think they were not timing their casts right and also BLU spells seem to have a long cast time. It is interesting that he BLU seems to be tanking. Their AF looks cool and all but it does not look as though it is very tough.

Well, there seems to be a Darkness distortion in space infront of the BLU and the Attack bursts out of that darkness distortion.

Trying to be objetive, the SMN casting animation seems to be the coolest so far, I also have a high elvel BLM, so I am tying to be unbiased. I hope the blue is cool. The way your describe it looks very interesting!
