PC / Console interface...

I have this on PS3 and it runs on my PC too but...I've got pretty used to the controller action buttons style UI.

Anyone know how / if you can switch it over on the PC? I've got a wireless xbox controller working with it flawlessly...just want the PS3 style interface is all...

For using a PS3 controller on a PC, you'll need a Bluetooth receiver accessory for your PC and a driver that can run the controller, like MotionInJoy.

If you just want to switch to PC as a platform using the Xbox 360 controller that you already have working, the game should accept your login from any platform, just like FFXI before it. Just use the same login credentials for your account and you should be golden (but you'll need to buy the game again I think, as I don't believe Square-Enix offers a free client for any version of FFXIV).

Ok...to clarify:

1.) Already have it running on PC
2.) Am using xbox 360 wireless controller flawlessly...
3.) Prefer the console interface with the exception of the resolution and that inventory thingy!)

I would just like to know if you can make the PC interface look like the console one, that's all.

Thx chap...as it happens, I figured it out in the end! Feeling really stupid too as the HUGE SWITCH BUTTON was kind of a clue...but I'd like to think that it was not as obvious as I later found it to be..hmm! In denial...
