The matter should have been over with when TBoTB closed the thread that Icemage linked to a few posts ago. Since then, putting this spamming trouble maker on my ignore list is the best thing I could do. Some people can't shut up or be shut up.

This post is not so that you all can flame me. Please keep it on topic. Other forums are doing fine with it, so keep your personal feelings out of this thread.

For those of you who didn't read far enough into the post, it was a suggestion by another poster and a mod that we find a constructive solution to the disagreement rather than butting heads meaninglessly, and to me, that sounded completely sensible-- that's why I'm doing this.

Validity: This is a perfectly valid way to determine what people's opinions are. It is not a study to see which subjobs are best-- it is a study to see what kind of feedback a person would recieve about a certain combo if they were to ask on this board.

And finally, about laziness:
I dare ask how you people have the gall to call me lazy. I live a very constructive and productive life (of which I'm fortunate enough to find time to include video games, and have the opportunity to come to this board during my free time while at work). That being said, I'm not going to be a judgmental hypocrite and call all of you on the fact that you have countless hours to waste on a meaningless video game. I'll just assume the best about each of you, as hard as that may be.

I don't give a freak how productive or whatnot you are in real life. You are still a lazy punk who can't use the damn search button, and instead will go out of the way to spam the boards. And now you try to insult EVERYONE here by complaining that we waste too much time on a video game?

Man, get your head out of your ass. Separate your personal life from this game. Unfortunately, none of us care about your personal life, or how you think we are wasting our lives playing this game. If you begrudge us for playing this game, then stop asking questions yourself. You're just being a damn hypocrite. It doesn't matter that you said "oh I won't say this, but..." before you insulted us, because buddy boy you said it.

Summary:
1) You are not doing this for anyone else's good. This is obvious enough since you don't care about validity at all. "Opinions" mean nothing when someone who hasn't even played the game can make a comment... who cares what he thinks? It won't work in the game, and it doesn't help anyone.

2) You can find people's opinions all over the boards, without having to post a stupid personal thread in each one. Use the search button you (key word) LAZY person.

3) A statement such as, "That being said, I'm not going to be a judgmental hypocrite and call all of you on the fact that you have countless hours to waste on a meaningless video game. " is akin to, "No offense, but your mom is ugly and your face looks like a gorilla made love to it." You may have put a minor disclaimer at the beginning, but you still provided the insult.

The FFXIOnline moderation team obviously disagrees with the concept of spamming the forums with this sort of trash.

I invite the members of this board to View Warnings (located on the left side of this screen) for the original poster, and I point out that Moderator Tomoh apparently agrees with my assertion that this sort of thread is unacceptable spam - and hence, NOT a "valid" method of collecting opinions.

If you think this is a "valid" way of doing this, i laugh at you some more, all the "feedback" you asked for is on every page in each forum, you don't even have to use the search button, browse through a couple of pages and you will find out, and i have the gall to call you lazy, and most of your posts are locked already,

again why do u have to defend yourself so much and "reveal" so much about what you do in "real life", as far from what you say and action on this board, you're pretty much immature and have low iq, stop belittling everyone and thinking you're so elite, and maybe i'll stop my posting my low opinions of you
