Snolls, Bombs, Galore!

Snowballs and Puroboros ....those two sets of bombs (Pso'Xia, and Crawler's Nest/Garliage Citadel)...

are these mob levels right? Alla says 40-45...but isn't Pso'Xia a level 65+ area? Lower level CN is definitely in the 50's as far as soloing...

i'm just looking for level 40-45 bombs to solo with carby...i'm 46 right now, but should be getting two levels tonight up to 48. I wanna start soloing bombs ><;

Any summoners know of any good bomb areas? I think i'm too low for Ifrit's Cauldron...although Alla says those are in the 40's as well.

Certain areas in Pso'Xja are level capped. I think there is one entrance where there is no level cap, right where the tiger NM spawns. I remember seeing a Snowball in there (no level cap). I don't recall any other spawns, but make sure to bring a warp.

Ifrits' bombs are 60+, they were never in the 40s range.

Pso'Xja comes in four flavors: 40 cap, 50 cap, 60 cap, and uncapped.

It's been quite a while since I've been in there but I believe the Snowballs are in the 40 cap area.

Unfortunately, you're capped at 40, and won't be able to get XP chains off of them since you're already 46.

I don't think there's anywhere in either Garlaige Citadel or Crawlers' Nest that has sufficient quantities of Puroburos to XP on.

Alla is not the most reliable source for information. I use several different sites in my info-hunting, but primarily I use the FFXI wiki and FFXI somepage. I highly recommend both sites as being reliable, as well as being veritable gold mines of info.

Somepage.com is where i got the mob levels also, later on in the day after i made this post. I'm just looking for a nice spot a SMN at 49-55 can solo exp while waiting for potention party members to log on. HOwever, i don't want to wait until the 60's to do it like on some guides (i believe Spira's SMN post on Alla and KI was the one that had bombs near Ifrit's...maybe they're outside though?) I thought of Garliage since that's where i see BSTs exping, but i forgot what level they were and when i do /sea they're either /anon or not there...so i dont know if they're BST or not. I'lll find out tonight though when i take a trip down there.

hello i am a fellow smn here i got up to lv 51 in a party and then went to ifrits and soloing on the bombs. i was getting 250+ 300+ chains with me and 1 other smn. To get to ifrits take the east side to get to the camp here is a good website for you.
