Qufim Island is an outdoor zone. When one uses escape, it sticks you in an outdoor zone, right? Escape out of Delkfutt's Tower, where do you land? Qufim Island. I've never attempted to cast Escape in Qufim Island, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't work. If it did, where would it drop you? Port Jeuno? That would be nice.

Yeah I know this thread is a little old, but just in case anyone is actually searching the site before making a new thread and runs across this...

For the record, Qufim does not, I repeat, does not, once again, does NOT count toward the summoner quest.

Don't ask me why. I always thought it was stupid. I've ranted and raved a number of times about how ridiculous it is that you can't get thunder element in Qufim.

But by know, we all know that you can rant and rave at SE til you're blue in the face and all it'll get you is... A blue face.

So to recap, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO GET ELEMENTS FOR THE SUMMONER QUEST FROM QUFIM. It will not work. Get thunder in Konschtat instead.

If you just got ice why would you need an escort to get it?

You can get ice in Ranguemont Pass, which is connected directly to East Ronfaure. If there's no ice weather there for you, you can sneak/invis (items) your way through to Beaucadine Glacier.

i cant get Fire it is driving me nuts i have been in the dunes for 8 hours nothing i hav ebeen toa adept desser nothing......ahhhh

if you are still looking for this go to the weather checker in Raubo. He'll tell you the weather in the desert (east and west), and Valkurm for the next three days... If it's gonna be hot in either, head there, if not, go do something else and try again in a few hours.

Doesn't matter what level you are to finish a quest. Quest requirements for ANY quest are just to START it. You could, technically, switch to a level 1 job.
