Hard to get a pt?

I was wondering if im the only Sam here having problems..
Im a Lv 44Sam22War on the Bismark server...
Also a Galka and i have updated gear like Deft ring, Kotes and Gi.
But still im looking for a party for sometimes over 2 to 3 hours...
So i was curious to know if any other DD or Sam are having any problems getting into pt's on any other server...

this isn't just samurai, this is any melee job from 40-75 just the breaks in this game :/

Just start making your own PTs. I suggest a melee that builds TP fast and a NIN to tank(they build TP much faster than PLDs) in your PTs, so you can Renkei often.

ima rng, played blm and rdm mage before that...so im not used to long wait times, and i honestly dont feel your pain...

I am pne of the pickiest people when making a party, i have booted whm for begging me to just grab any ole player.....

if i cant get a multiple ranger party going, im looking for taru nins, taru plds, rdms, whms, smns, and then sams....

might seem like you guys have a few jobs in front of you, but sam is my #1 choice for melee.

I hate SCing with even mnks, i gotta sit there with 300% tp shooting waiting for the slow war, or mnk, or drk to gain tp to do a SC, i dont have that problem with sams, i can get off 3 full SCs and the blm mage can just enfeeble, kick back till its time to MB, then MB and kick back till we need the last two MBs...

of course this is while fighting IT+++ mobs (witch i try to do all the time.


but those extra MBs (its prolly usually two a battle) really help us with chain 5 consistency.


so yeah as a rng sams are my melee buddies.


plus i envy you guys, you get to play sam/rng one day^^

yeah, what they said "make your own" A friend of mine who has a galka monk lvl 45ish has the same problem. I think it has to do with there being such a wide variety of dmg dealers that can suit many needs at that lvl (drg, drk, war, mnk, sam etc) But I could be wrong, Ive always played a caster...:sweat:

get a lotta freinds or make a set PT, I never had a prob gettin into PTs wit my samurai because I had a WAR/THF/RNG all lvled to 37 for my sub.

Samurai has a shit load of potential but most samurais use /war mainly because its the standard combo, after lvl 60 having thf subbed is a must! and always have RNG for Sidewinder and fast a$$ TP *I was in a PT once and had 100 TP 3 times over b4 my renkei memeber had even 90, I did'nt even use Meditate I just shot arrows which give u like 20+ TP per hit.

I've personally never had trouble finding parties through 59 levels....99% of the time, I get party within a half hour of flagging up. That other 1% usually consists of 5-10 hour waits though :/

I also agree with the friends comment and its really easy.

I mean i just happened to get invited to a party with a taru rng, we were jokingly comparing dmg and gears, and just having a blast bouncing hate ignoring the tanks please for some restraint.


now its like we have meet two other rangers, and we save sooooo much ammo partying together for crazy xp.

I don't mean to offend anyone, but after reading Thegods posts, I have noticed sort of a snobby attitude toward what they "think" is not as good a job. Rangers in particular, so you chose rng instead of lets say, drg. /em hands thegod a cookie.
and yes I am venting because my drk cant get a party, so I'm trying sam, I'm even thinking og doing what ost mages or rng's so, be a mage or rng, not because its enjoyable mind you, but because they get a PT fast. That in itself sickens me to no end, when you been seeking a PT for 2 hours, and as soon as a rng's flag goes up, they get a PT. A rng could be the biggest dick, the worst player, and would still get a PT, just because they are a rng, so go ahead, shoot your gay ass bows, wear cloth fairy armor, but ok, be high level.

I take that back, I do mean to offens all rng's, I hate them, not because they out damge me, partly because they get a PT waaaaay before me, but mainly because they havent got what it takes to level a true melee job. So Thegod, you, and your gimp taru pld's go PT all you want, and the next time you take turns taking agro off the tank, I hope you die in the worst way. That kind of behavior is not fair to the tank, or the whm. I am getting angry thinking about you stupid mithra that are moslty male players...but thats a whole other post. SO flame one, flame all....bring it on!!!!!!

um techincally i am a manthra...why you ask? (or even if you didnt)

....because ever since october 2003 ive known i wanted to be a ranger, i couldnt care if rangers were the bards of the game shooting buffs at mobs that did no damage, i always wanted to be a ranger.

when i found out mtihra made the "best" (arguable now that i actually have the game)he ranger job.

I love ranger, IMO there isnt a job more fun in the entire game.

I actually dont need any tank or anyone besides more rangers now that you mentioned it, i'll leave the "normal" partiues to the crybaby darks wwho are too poor to play ranger effectively, while i gather all the rangers a deprive you of the chance to play with the best DD in the game.


oh yeah im venting too alright...

Oh and trading hate.....hahahahahahaha lol ive never heard anything more absrub then a dark trading hate with a gun ranger....lol thats likely to happen...you'd never in a million years pull hate from me unless i so chose to let you.

I play ninja, the most complicated melee job in the game IMO, and youi dont play that either because its not as cheap as drk or sam or mnk (wut you'll lvl next when you get no invites as a sam either)


no one forces you to LFG for hours...you made that choice, it'll take me max 40 mins to build a full party with not a single vital member seeking, its called /sea all whm, pld, nin, blm, rdm, ect....


so continue to cry me a river as i gain massive amounts of xp in my all ranger party....then flaunt my kirin's osode in your face a few months from now.

oh and btw im in ranger JSE baby no more gay tunics for me

So what your trying to say is " I laugh at you pathetic Other DD jobs, Ranger is the best" Omg go chocke on your words, I'm a Ranger too, and I dont run around and brag off how good I am, because Ranger is "not" the best DD in the game from my point of veiw, and by the looks of your posts I know you obtained all those Ranger statistic from others. What you did is take high level- experianced players data and twist it to make Ranger look all the more better. well "Thegod" maybe once you make it to level 75 you'll wise up, until then your just some little low ass level Ranger who I doubt is even lvl 50+.

I personally love to SkillChain with Samurais since I always know they'll have enough TP for my WSs.
