I can't really tell you to level your sub either, honestly, because I was 50/15 before I knew what hit me @_@

I got so many invites post 41, I couldn't pass them up. I would literally log in and get an invite, it was crazy @_@

I think thata any thief that gains ANY type of level earned it through hard work, cause damn... I was THF up until 25 (hmm, Qufim seems to kill my love for this game a LOT..... )
and the invites were hard to get... and my PT performance was abysmal... well, cept for when SA came at the end of a weapon skill chain. But in any case, anyone who survives Qufim and friggin Khazam gets 5 gold-stars in my book!

*knock on wood* I've had mostly good luck in Qufim, but maybe that's cause I've made my own parties. It's definately less painful than valkurm.

As for leveling your subs: you can probably get away with it until 30, but you'll be missing a couple of nice spells (Drain w/ blm and Posiona, Paralyna, Protectra w/ whm) and some healthy stat boosts. However, a fully leveled sub just shows you're willing to put the extra effort into your character. If I'm assembling a PT, I'll take the leveled sub over a non-leveled sub in an instant. Besides, just think of it as a nice way to cap your other magic skills.

          Thanks Yyg!

Just for the record about RDM enfeebling...

At lvl 15-25 being the main healer in the group:
Paralyze, Blind, Dia/Bio >>> I often did not need to cure as often.
I sometimes would just sit back and wonder "should I start nuking? its tempting... but I should wait, I might need to start curing again soon"...

And often enough, the battle continues where the mellees are just missing and hitting for 0-2 damage, and then I just go "f*ck this!" and go "FIRE"!

            Mob dead...

            /bow :spin:
            Modnar

            Melee:
            43 Monk; 25 Warrior; 20 Theif; 10 Dragoon; 11 Dark Knight; 7 Ninja.

            Mage:
55 Red Mage; 32 Black Mage; 27 White Mage.

Hey modnar, I felt that A LOT, specially in the dunes after those punk as Snippers would break out that shellskin thingmajig. I'd have to break out Stone or SOMETHING (thank God, I havent been to the dunes since lvl 18!!!!)

And you are right too, hoboman. I just ignore him, cause his time spent playing as a whack WAR on an account that is constantly being played by the owner cant add up anywhere NEAR my time being a full-time RDM (which means doing everything from nuking, enfeebling AND healing)

Which White or Black Mages can say they've done all 3 within the span of 4 hours? (seriously, I'd like to talk to them to tell them they're wasting MP for something usefull... like their jobs, ne? :spin: )
