I never expect people to have the +1 equipment, but it does make a large difference. I do get bothered if people don't put enough effort into getting gil. "Enough" not being nearly as much as the effort I put into it. But anyways, the +1 stuff does give minor bonuses but those minor bonuses means one LARGE bonus when you add it all up. It does make a huge difference, I almost always preform 1.5-3x as well as other people I've partied with, because of my equipment, in almost any job I play. And the inventory thing isn't an issue if you have 2-4 gobbie bags.

Ok well earlier in this post I read that somebody uses a +3mind/int club? If it doesn't cost that much then that is the answer to the problem. Because you wont have to worry about switching your electrum rings for +int/mind rings. So when you are getting resisted just equip that club. I'm going to log on to find out how much this so called "+3mind/int club" costs. Do you all think this is a valid idea?

Ok i just got done doing some research! Here's what i find....it's better to switch out your weapon with a wand while you're doing your enfeebs, then put your "fencing degen" back on when your are done for the +10mp (if u have it)
I cannot remember the prices on these wands so here they all are
Maple wand+1 - lvl1 - INT/MND +2
Willow wand+1 - lvl9 - INT/MND +3
Hermit's wand - lvl13 - INT/MND +2 (spell interuption down 25%)
Yew wand +1 - lvl18 - INT/MND +4
Chestnut wand+1 - lvl32 - INT/MND +4
Solid wand - lvl32 - INT/MND +5
Casting wand - lvl41 - MP+20
Rose wand+1 -lvl48 - INT/MND +6
These wands are around our level i believe i'm clueless as to their price, but if u look at the willow wand plus +1 ...that stuff HAS to be cheap cause i can make those with lvl12 logging skill haha. If u wanna go spendy you can get up to +5 mnd/int past lvl 32 without losing the use of your electrums....i don't know about ya'll but i think imma start investing in some wands hehe. If i'm wrong please feel free to correct me.

I've done just fine with +MP rings since 40 when I got Electrum. Right now, with my equip chaging macros, I can get up to +20 MND and +17 INT (that includes Melon Pie bonus) without removing my Electrum Rings. And even with that, I still have some more MND and INT boosting equipment I want to get to push those numbers a bit higher. (still have to pick up a Rose Wand +1, want some Engineer's Gloves, and other things...)

I've always had as much HQ gear as I could, and never really got resisted except for a brief period around 38-40. However, that changes after 51, when the exp per level jumps a lot and for a mob to be IT, it has to be further away in levels than when exping at lv50 or lower.
Now, with +31 MND (Rose Wand +1, RK belt, Red Cape +1, Promise Badge, mix of RSE/AF, MND rings, Devotee's Mitts) and +24 INT (Morion Tathlum, Morion Earrings, Rose Wand +1 and Red Cape and RK belt again, various AF/RSE, INT rings, food, think that's it), I STILL get resisted a very frustrating amount. Of course, we're often fighting IT+ or whatever, there's sometimes just nothing you can do. But I have a feeling that if I didn't have that much MND and INT I'd get resisted even more. Like, all the time.
So before 50-60 you can get away with it. Past 51 you just can't, you need lots of gear and you need it to be HQ if at all possible.
There ARE a few ways to make money very quickly, and they don't involve farming or BCNMs. You do have to be willing to die, possibly often.

use all 3
I have 6 equipment switching macros
wand, sword, dagger, int, mnd, and convert
convert macro equips 2 electrum ringds and my crimson blade total of +50 mp thats half my cure iv after convert.
mnd macro equips 2 +2 mnd rings and wand +5 mnd
int macro equips 2 +2 int rings and wand for +5 int
equip i carry
gold hairpin +30 mp
2 electrum rings -20hp +20mp
2 saintly rings +2mnd
2 eremite's rings +2int
solid wand +5 mnd/int
crimson blade +10mp +5int
custom M hume boots +12mp +3int -1mnd
custom M gloves +4mp
custon M pants +32mp +3mnd
holy phail +9mp +3mnd
royal squire robe +10mp
black earingx2 +8mp
druid rope +1 mnd/int
red cape +2 mnd/int
balance buckler
so when i convert i have +155 mpthat is a cure iv and a refresh
in mnd mode i have +17mnd without food
in int mode i have +15 int without food
i normally use apple pies in party to balance my mnd/int plus ad 25mp
It does take awhile to get used to hitting the switch macros and honestly i still forget sometimes lol
you usually remember as soon as you cast your first spell that you forgot to switch.
All i can say is do the gobbie bag quest's and the safe upgrades, then really come in handy
Take care

Your assumption is correct.
Speaking of fishing, I fished as primary source of income a couple months ago, but got kind of tired of it, and from what I understand it's been nerfed yet again. Doesn't really matter to me, one can only play so much Gameboy while listening for catch noises.
