Equipment Woes (pass lvl 55)

Didn't they change that so if you are not in the PT while mob is killed, you can't lot on the item?

Thats how it worked when my pt got a friend a bomb coal a week or so ago.

we had killed a bomb while she was on her way, and the coal was in the treasure pool, she entered Garlaige and got added to the PT, but couldn't lot on the item. We killed another, and she could lot on that one.

Anyone else have this experience?

Nope the other night my group found mold while killing exoray in the way gave it away. However if the person dies, WHM died while killiing mob for Water AF part and she was unable to roll or obtain item. So maybe zoning is treated like death dunno. Thats just my exp.

NSX that hasn't been changed. Salt and I were skilling up in Valkurm, and I got aggroed from a Ghoul so we killed it and got a magicked skull.

We sent a /shout for anyone who needs it, invited some lvl 19 taru BLM with no sub, and he obtained the skull.

I wouldn't say the axe is inferior to an archer's knife.
true it has 3 less ranged acc., but for that you get +7 ranged atk. so, if you're not missing a lot it'd deffinately be worth replacing your archer's knife for.
same thing with the sargna. war bow+1 should suffice, but if you're missing a lot, switch to the sargna.

Not sure what lvl PT can take Aquarious.. it has an incredible attack speed.

well my personal plan is to use musketeers gun until 70 then Hellfire. Only problem is that raising alchemy to 55+ sucks. But if your goin to want a bow your stuck with waiting on Ebow.

Some of my LS members were in a 65-66 lvlup party in Boyahda and they killed aquarius, so yeah. I'd imagine a party a few lvls lower might be able to kill it (him?) with good skill, luck, and perhaps a few 2hrs :roll:
