Equipment Woes (pass lvl 55)

Well, as any ranger knows the coveted Euryto's bow at lvl 55 is pratically unobtainable unless you had another high level job before trying ranger. That being said, What bows should I buy/hunt for in the game?

I am currently using a War Bow +1 and was wondering what the difference between that and Sarnga is.

Warbow has

Sarnga has 72 damage, 720 delay, STR+1 INT+1 Ranged accuracy+8 .

Warbow has 66 damage, 524 delay, ranged acc +2, ranged attack +18.

I don't know if base damage or attack + is more important, but from what it looks like the next bow i will be getting is either a Shigeto Bow or an Euryto's Bow. I'm trying to boost my attack by getting an Ammemit Mantle (saving up for it) but short of doing that, is there any other good bows you high level rangers recommand? :confused:

Edit: I also heard there's a high level ranger Axe, but i've never seen any on sale. Care to enlighten me as to what this axe is? :confused: :confused:

Edit #2: To answer my question, the axe is Francisca, Ex/rare so i never saw it on the AH... +7 ranged attack and accuracy, not as accurate as the archer's knife but the attack is about 10 bajillion times higher >_>;

the thing I dun like is if the lvl 50 HQ bow would be the last bow before the e-bow, but can't find a better bow then Warbow+1

Maybe I go camp e-bow sometimes, the droprate may suck but it has sold like 20 times in AH and there hasn't been a bow there for like months I think
so even if I had the money for it, I couldn't buy it ><

it's an ex item, it's best axe for rng in the game, tho not as good as archer knife, but a fun change :D

haha yes, i was editing the stuff about the axe...

i level at boyhda a lot and see aquarius around a lot too but i don't know what level he is and when i can attempt to arrange a party to kill it...

my friend's NM hunting party killed him at lvl 60ish but they has a really nice strategy for it... ^^

as far as I know you need a high lvl tank for it, pld 65+, maybe even 70+

You prolly could kill it with a very good 65+ pt but with a 60 pt, I wonder how they did that cause I never heard of it

Recent bug that was fixxed within the day... Combat Casters cloaks + 1/2 did not have the "Not able to wear Headgear" so you could wear hooded cloak with a hat.

Hawker's Knife is an upgrde of archer's knife that requires 82ish alchemy and some very rare ingredients.

So its possible but rate to get Hawkers +1/2 .. Anyone have info on indgredients I did a little searching myself and heard something about dragon blood. I think the information would help all rangers ^^

i realize there was a hawker's knife but it still does tiny amounts of damage.... but yes +11 acc and +2 agi is very tempting....

costs about 1.5 mil on AH just because dragon's blood is required to make it.


so... what lvl 55+ bow is good besides euryto's bow? Any NM dropping a good ex/rare bow?

Strider Boots
Drone Earrings
forgot what rings
and Euryto's Bow.

Suck it up and start farmin Power !!!

On Midgardsomr the axe gets thrown away alot since most people kill it for vermillion cloth worth 900k ... So if you happen to be standing around and msg the person they might give ya the axe.
