Anybody seen this new sword? I was wondering what everyone thought the price should be.

Ha, 400,000? Bought the grudge sword yesterday for 100,000 on Titan server. After seeing one up for sell, and no history of ever being bought or sold, i quickly picked up this rare catch. As far as i know, i am the only person who owns this sword on Titan, at least for now.

Its from the new BCNM 40 star orb in Palborough mines and giddeus. The palborough one makes you fight 8 jellies and 1 NM jelly. And the giddeus one is 2 Hecteyes and 1 NM hecteyes. PErsonally, like 8 grudge swords have sold on Ifrit and i don't really think they are worth even 10k. The + 1 enmity doesnt do much and the sword doesn't even look good. I'd save the 100k towards some better accesories and using a hunting sword till AF 1.

Also, if you want this sword, reaallllly want it, try and get two other people for the BCNM. They can't be too bad if you only need 3 people.

Prolly, that depends. It's really hard to find BRD's for these type of kills and how often will the weapon drop is still to be determined.

Enough about all that. How well does this sword help you keep hate? Is it a noticable difference?

BTW, there was 1 sold for 100K in Lakshmi.

I tried this sword out in a chapter of my ffxi career I like to call "The bcnm that broke my heart", but I must never speak of that ugly event. The sword on the other hand is pretty sweet. I used it in an exp party and didn't lose hate once, and this being 48 in a 48-50 party. Thief could viper onto the drg without worry. I like to keep hate kinda loose, so if a monster turns to another player I don't count it as a hate loss if I can get it back before the monster lands a hit(hey mr dark, the mob knows what you're up to^^) Great weapon, but I opted not to keep it. Tanking is exciting, and unless this sword is used in a kick ass pt you're not in for a lot of excitment. Cover rules =P
*on a side note I'm kinda broke ass, and this sword costs the same as a lifebelt, that's not a hard choice.

What i meant was some people don't have the luxury of having a BRD ready to go and do a BCNM, unlike some. And also I don't know how often this weapon is rewarded after you win the BCNM. I mean isn't it random?? That's why I said that. I don't know how many runs was that when you had 10 that already sold at yer Server, but I have yet to see one in Garuda.

+1 enmity is hardly going to help keep hate better.

I wouldn't pay any more than 20k for this sword.

Actually all things being equal, +1 emnity will help a great deal in keeping hate.
