Koenig Armor?

I saw some pieces of this on a high level JPN PLD in a HNM Linkshell(of course I asked to check him), and it looks pretty sick. I imagine Daigoro and Bside know where this comes from, is this made from the cursed armor?

Jeez dude, -5 to str/dex; +10 to vit/chr? For all three?

Why would anybody use that for warrior in the first place? That's pretty much all paladin specific stuff.

Although with all that str/dex penalty, I'm a little iffy on wearing those things.

I saw a high lvl JP with nearly the whole koenig series today (missing the boots). Insane armor (looked pretty good too, although it was just a reskin of IM armor). His stat bonuses totaled -20 to str and dex and +~50 to vit! (he had some other stat bonusing items that slightly slightly lowered the blow of the -20 str/dex).

Although with the charisma bonuses, the lowered dex/attack wouldn't matter that much - even if he's missing much more and doing much less damage, he's still able to hold the hate amazingly well, or probably even better than a normal paladin...

along with the +HP... and the actual defense on those items... and you have an amazingly purebred tank.

I know Lei had a Scorpion Harness and Peacock charm which negated the DEX loss from Koenig's, and that +3 dex earring, though I don't know honestly if it was just for show or actual wear. I mean he had NIN subbed to dual wield and I can't fathom a Paladin subbing NIN effectively besides showing off the spiffy swords.

Depending on race the STR loss probably isn't too bad. Elvaan already have stupid high STR so losing 15 probably won't kill you as a PLD. Probably right though, I can't see a warrior having much desireability for that armor but then again it might make them a more viable tank alternative with that armor but it is a notable penalty offense wise since most higher level warriors I know are never invited to tank in any party.

I can't totally remember the "cursed armor" segway...
but I think it goes a-somethin' a-like a-this...

Craft Cursed Armor (Many ingredients, very expensive, Gangsta skillz required)
Get a special 'Abjuration' for it (drop by certain NMs)
Take Cursed Item to one of the priests in San d'Oria to be sanctified withthe abjuration.

yea, definitely 1337 just flowing from that armor, i think its cool lookin too. although i'm a big fan of the way the AF armor looks. so it seems like chr really does help with hate
