I used it at 34. MNK was not my first though...although I only took RDM to 41 before converting to the path of the fist. It was a gift from a friend of mine. Still have it to thise day and will probably never sell it. Tis a tribute to our eternal friendship

MNK wasnt my first job but i still had the Kote at 34. I treat it like all jobs i lvl and dont lvl until i have the best gear i can get. MNK is now stuck at 40 until i get my hands on 2x snipers rings and the brown belt. So it takes me awhile to get anywhere in this game.PLD: 58 AF: 5/6

Agrathorn for a hume monk I think the 2x snipers is a bit too much. I only felt the need for +acc at 49-50. And even now I only need one sniper ring to hit at a decent rate. I'm even considering not getting the second one.. if my spartans come thru. If you want to get all the good equipment early on then thats cool and I'm dont want to discourage you. Thought I personally would die of boredom if I tried that.

yeah snipers are somewhere around that price havent checked in awhile. Right now i'm camping Stroper for the archers ring and i've got someone that will synth em for me when i get it so thats not a problem. I dont really miss all that much and could lvl fine without them but some days i just seem to miss more than i like to is the only reason i want them.
Although i did check the kote last night and they are going for 900k right now and still climbing glad i got em when i did for 600k.PLD: 58 AF: 5/6

meh, being elvaan im not to keen on having -dex. even with snipersx2 and life belt.
i think ill stick with the kote.

Go with the AF gloves. Boost = % boost. While it might not be active all the time, that's still a bit of attack. My boost with AF currently adds +60 attack.All spells obtained!

As a Hume, I'm slowly seeing the effect of Kote dissolve in comparison to my AF gloves. Sometimes I equip only the AF and/or Enkeledos Bracelets throughout my exp party. Yes, even I'm not keen on the -DEX so I only use these when I have a BRD or SMN in the party. I probably wont sell the Kote till i've had a chance to experiment with the Kote and Spartans tho.

Err, you can switch to AF gloves when Boosting, and switch back to Kote, give you more attack O.o;; I tested it myself... you get the boost effect, and you get the attack+ of kote before attacking/WSing...
Kote is nice to have, but I won't demand 1st time players to be all well equipped.. that is just too elitist, it's stupid. Skill > Equip > race...Comment
