2. Why would you be using Penta on crabs? A Distortion chain is a whole lot better then Spamming Penta.

3. Monk's can use all the same Acc+ gear and deal the same amount of damage if not more. Same principles apply to both classes using just about the best gear possible.

Robber Crab uses Metallic Body.
Robber Crab gains the effect of Stoneskin.

Penta Spam is only good in certain situations.

The first night I tried DRG/SAM, my party took me to level in Upper Delkfutts, as far as I am concerned Gigas are weak to polarm but I am not sure.

The damage with each penta was from 400-700.

Worked great although this only works on some monsters this party made me 15,000 EXP in 2 and 30 min.

Just like monk going to Gustav to level in the 60s, each job has its own place where they can be the best of the best.

Good point, i think polearms are more effective in giant class opponents, i went there myself during the weekend to level on gigas.. (By the way what level is Alkyoneus?) The exp was not bad (i was 58 and had some level 60 guys in the pt) and decent. My hits and weapon skills were working like they're supposed to (non penta ws hits around 200-300 like vorpal thrust) and I guess Ive been leveling on damn crabs for so many levels that i forgot how good polearms are against gigas.
