I've enjoyed this rant for the most part, but you went way too far in the personal attack on the guy and advocating his death by suicide. being arrogant and proud of your ingame accomplishments is one thing, but taking his gaming style and basing a psychological profile on him and condemning him is a bit much. I've studied enough psychology and sociology to believe you need much more to go on. I understand your were ranting and responding to his comments and you went for the jugular, but I just thinks it's beyond common decency to continue that attack onto his lifestyle or encouraging his demise.

keep on challenging the game, I enjoy your bold exploits and it encourages me to attempt things that others naysay in the game, but I can do without the personal attacks by you and on you from others. I just don't understand why people get so defensive about this game or their posts on it.

and yes, I'm at work with nothing to do at the moment so I thought I would take 5 min and comment on this. congratulations for giving me something to do while I wait for my next project.

Look, I'm not even going to read and comment on half that garbage you just spewed. The fact that you called up all your real life buddies to back you up on an online forum shows how serious you are about this issue. These are the same real life buddies who you cried for support on the Samurai thread. Heck, he even defended for you before you had the time to post.

3) Sonova was chosen as my handle for this game because I was meeting up with friends from previous games and rather than forging a new identity and having to do the whole 3 ring circus just to play a new game i opted to go with what worked. Sonova was initially selected almost 3 fucking years ago as a protest to the less than stellar naming policies of Verant , back in the day before they were bought over by SoE. Also i would like to point out that not once have I ever considered it a work of high literary creativity and as the nick 'Potsnu' does not seem to have been awarded any recognition by any of the reputable and not so reputable institutions, I come to the conclusion that you sir, are grasping at straws.

1) This was totally out of line. Can you kindly point out in my replies, where and if I made fun or critcize your username in any shape or form? I do not recall doing such a thing.

2) Since you made an allusion to SOE, I would assume you played EQ as well. I'll be as straight forward as possible. You are NOT Furor, no matter how hard you try to be. You are no where near his caliber of flaming abilities. Please stop, it's not working. The fact that in 2 replies, you typed over 1500-2000 Words just to reply to an internet post, already shows you obessesed you are with online forums, and being right.

4) This is where you lose credit. Credit for your flame, and credit as a person. The fact that you can take this GAME and Post so seriously....I don't even know if I can reply. I'll try to respond as brief as possible, for brevity's sake. When you compose a Thread of this nature, and in this prose format, you expect to get flamed. You've mentioned this, you know this, you expect this. Now the fact of the matter remains, you're going to attack someone's real life and character simply because of this? Why would you do such a thing, when it is almost expected to recieve such a reply? Does this make any sense to you?

I am fully aware that the posts and the prose in which they are written would garner negative reactions from some people on these boards. In fact I want them to gain negative reactions.

Look, I've tried to kept my flames as minimal as possible in this reply. If you're goign to respond, do it a mature level, without the need of attacking someone's real life. 5) I'll end this with my last thought. I didn't bother reading that whole last Personal attack, the digression away from your so called "rebutall". However, the bits and pieces that I've managed to skim, I can tell you this much. There are many people who play this game as a Form of Escape. An Escape of their reality, from their real life. This is often the reasoning to such high levels of addiction. People such as yourself, Often feel happy with their accomplishments within a MMORPG. A sense of self renewal and reward, for something that they lack in real life. I think almost all the things you mentioned in your personal attack against me, is what you personally experience. I wouldn't be surprised if that's the real life you live. This is why you need to boast about yourself in online forums. I don't care how uber you are in this MMORPG, let's see how uber you are in real life. This post is getting longer than it should, I don't want to write another essay and waste bandwidth, like you have just done previously.

I'm not even going to bother replying to your next response/flame. This is not because you've won, or that I'm inferior in any way. The fact that you can attack someone's personal life and character from Text, Pixels, 0's, and 1's, already shows how serious a person you are from an online forum. Potsnu, why the sudden change of personality? You first responded in this post as a generic flaming forum poster making claims that you have no basis on, and now you act as if you are some holier-than-thou moderator. What's up with that?

Why, exactly, are you bashing on the length of posts, of all things? Why do you have to continually grasp at straws and bash on irrelevant matters to try to back up your claims? On the contrary, well-composed thoughts and posts carry much more weight than the blind one-liners Niexis chooses to use. It almost seems as if you are not even intelligent enough to comprehend long posts, but since you are a university student, you should at least be capable of that. So I assume you are just grasping for straws once again.

I actually agree with most of the rest of your post, and for all I know you are probably an intelligent and reasonable person at other times... but again, why are you so suddenly 'above it all', when you were eagerly participating in all these attacks from the start? I hope you realize that several of your arguments, while valid, can just as easily be applied to yourself. And if you won't respond to this just because you don't want to address all my points and rebuttals... then that's too bad.
