I am considering going this route asap. Is this a good or bad idea?

The TP passive adds 2% per hit not 1%. Also while using a lance a Dragoon gets an additional 2% TP. So really you end up with 14% per hit.Originally posted by Nemx
You'll get about 1% addition tp per polearm hit with the level 10 Samurai store tp.
Wrong but thanks for playing! It adds 100% TP back over 3-5 seconds for Samurai main. 60% over 5 seconds as a subjob.Originally posted by Chubbs
Actually the store tp ability gives more tp based on how much tp you have. So you get to 300% very fast.
Don't bother with Samurai sub until 60. You'll just make life harder on yourself and limit what you can and can?ft do.Ailis

Choice between warrior and thief sub is simple.
a) Want burst damage? Go thief. You get a nice burst every minute with sneak attack
b) Want consistent damage? Go warrior. With berserk up, every hit you do will be consistently higher
Personally I went the thief way only because I hated having half my double thrust hit or none at all. Sneak Attack guarantees both hits which gives a nice damage.BST 75 (Active) | BRD 75 (Active)

Only advantage I saw to it was not having the JA "Provoke"
