Thing is, I got Haubergeon > Hauberk my bro paid the 1.7mil for Balins and the 600k (at the time) for Bomb Core. Only reason why I said my bro did get me most was to the fact that I got the Damascus Ingot from Simurgh, which btw I didnt magically win the lot.. it was passed on for me.

Still I guess I did get majority of my gear.

And I do not join HNM LS where its free lot to any random idiot that can click a mouse. I have worked and rewarded for my gear.

I gave mine and my bros play times to show the fact that I/we do not play 24/7 like mindless fools. Both attend class and work. It proves that if we were spending our lives in this game that I would be others on my server who have everything and are equipping their 2nd jobs. Mine and my bro's combined time is not even equal to the 180-200+ days other friends ingame have spent.

And to be honest camping things like Simurgh, Roc, even Serket is a joke.

lol my play time is 118 days. but then again i used to mule like every day of the week. farm/mine put the stuff up for sale of a.h an mule the rest an go see g/f or work. just before bed id do the same thing. not to mention the loads of mule hours to sell crafted items.. so i cant tell you how many hours i really sat an played the game, wish i could. but i guess thats what keeps me from shooting myself


damascus ignot = haubergeon an that will = haubek. you got lucky to be able to get the ignot .most other times it is either looted between the ls. or sold an the money split a few ways.. i on the other hand farmed for my haubergeon form 55-59. what helped me out, was i didnt need to seek for a pt at that time cause i had a static party.. only plus is my haubergeon = haubek when its my time..


with enough money to buy the thick set, bomb core, an the lvl 63+1 earring. i ponder... pallas bracelets til thick set... :confused:

Sorry to be way off topic but I was never one for major crafting (only cooked) so can you tell me if your saying that haubergeon can be synthed into a hauberk? or if you mean it can be traded to an npc for a hauberk or something?^^

A Damascus Ingot is used to synth a Haubergeon.

A Haubergeon is used to synth a Hauberk.

A Hauberk is used to synth a Cursed Hauberk, that with abjuration will become Adaman Hauberk.

What do you need to synth a haubergeon to a hauberk then to a cursed hauberk? skill, materials ect?

Also is it cheaper to buy a haubergeon and have it crafted to hauberk than actually buying a hauberk?

I suggest getting a lvl 90+ Blacksmith for Haubergeon or Hauberk Synths. And if possible capped lvl102 Blacksmith for the Cursed Hauberk synth.

(Hauberks cost is similar to Haubergeon cost, so to save the hardache of getting ingredients and such and potentially breaking the synth. I suggest selling Haubergeon and buying Hauberk from AH. Unless you feel lucky and have enough reserve gil to buy a HQ Hauberk if the synther synths one.)

This is an amazing armor, but useless without abjuration. Abjuration drops from Nidhogg, which is the HQ form of Fafnir in Dragons Aery. The Adaman Chain and Sheets used take up 9 Adaman Ore's or 3 Ingots. On Midgardsormr server, these ingots go for 350k each. Whole ingots can also be dropped by Genbu (easiest god) which can help. Or Adaman Ore's can be dropped by the 2 turtle HNM Adamantoise or Aspidochelone.

The synthing fee I paid for getting someone to synth it was 200k.

So your telling me a synther would charge you extra if s/he synthed a HQ hauberk even if you bought all the ingredients? Thats a bit crappy. Would,nt it be better just getting a friend to do it for you instead?

That is if you trust your friend and their skill level to succesfully make the synth.

But sure if you know someone that would all the better for you.


There are many people who charge about 1mil for HQ versions of Cursed equipment or high classed equipment. Dusk set comes to mind.

Yeah but its your stuff! he just got lucky in the synth. Its not as if you can stop him from getting HQ if he does so you shouldnt have to pay.
