      its fine, but like the warrior 2hour, they NEED to make the hits guaranteed. its completly stupid to activate it and miss almost every swing, you end up with a total waste of an ability.

        OK.... Other day.. I went coffer key hunting with my DRK buds.. we brought along some friends so we have a pretty balaned alliance. BLM/WHM/RDM..etc..etc...

        We went to Castle Ostraja and hunted the Yagudos for Cofferkey... Got a link with 2 Prelates and they nuked the entire alliance with Ga spells and Ancient magic... Those spells literally whipe out everyone's hp..so everyoen busted out 2 hrs....we didnt last long cause the Yagus just simply nuked us non stop.. whm couldnt get silence off b/c she was busy healing and eventually die along with rest of PT... 4x drks used soul eater and blood weapon...
        last 4 standing = 4 x drks..
        Everyone die except the drks... Drks saved teh day one of em had a whm Sub and managed to raised the whm who has Raise II.. and got everyone back up on their feet...

        DRKs saved the day.. yay?

            soulvoice, bard 2hr sucks ass, (if u don't know, the bard has to resing all songs to get the bonus)

            dragoon 2hr sucks, is expended as soon as it comes up if they're wyvern isn't alive

            samurai 2hr sucks unless they have 300% tp, and then its only flashy ( i hear u don't gain tp while its in effect but even then)

            war 2hr is meh, crits are nice, but your limited by the delay of your weapon and your acc.

            ninja 2hr owns....as free gate....

            redmage 2hr owns post 40 and convert

            benediction is good....w/ a pally or a close zoneline

            theif is good

            blackmage is good since it makes spells uninteruptable, things go bad, manafont+escape

            monk.... 100fist is ridiculous but only alsts 30seconds i neither want to see this nerfed, upgraded, or stolen

            pal =save whm after benediction.

            summoner...... yeah.... /cough ass /cough

            beastmaster, nice thing about this one is it greatly lengthens your charm..... but to make it worth it u have to charm something that is far above your level, thus killing your exp.... thus removing any benefit

            ranger2hr, one big arrow nuke right? ..... yay for free crit?

            dkn its fine, its free drain, yeah thats not grossly overpowering, nor is it weak

            as for turning the tides of battle, only thing that will reliably do that later is a redmage, chainspell+escape > mobs, or paladin +invincable waiting to be last as everyone zones links that aren't locked down immediately tend to kill your crowd control or healer first, which is why running and trains are so prevelant

              BRD's 2-hr does have to resing the songs, but they are profoundly more effective. Paeon and Ballad are so much more effective, that they can truly turn the tide in the battle.

              SAM 2-hr now starts with 300 % tp, and they can start meditate as soon as they've fired their 1st weapon skill for 4 consecutive WS, 2 consecutive Distortion chains, or a full 4-person self Renkei, if you're feeling saucey.

              MNK 2-hr is 1 minute (actually closer to about 50 seconds). This ability definitely turns the tides in battle, assuming the mages can keep the MNK alive long enough for it to run it's course.

              SMN's 2-hr was also majorly upgraded. It lasts for a long time now, and can do a lot of great things, don't be so quick to discount it.

              BST 2-hr can save your neck if your pet turns on you and you can't recharm him.

              As far as DRK 2-hr goes, if you have your 1-hd sword skills up to date, it works rather nicely. Of course, you have to be carrying a nice sword too, which I'm guessing not so many drks do... But we do pretty decent damage with sword, and you get 10-12 hits in during the 2-hr. Most of the time, I only use my 2-hr when i'm farming and want to fight a few more battles before resting when i'm out of MP

                Ranger 2hr is better than you said also - I've heard the exact effect is between 4x-12x normal damage on the next ranged shot. Seeing as how rangers in Valkurm can do over 200 damage with it, and I've been told (though never seen) that rangers over 40 can shoot for 1600+ with it, I don't consider it anywhere near useless.

                I only really use Drk 2hr as a toy to heal say 60hp if I'm lucky... I'll activate it if a fight is looking bad but I'll never expect it to do anything towards turning the fight around.

                  accually Bamce, the rdm one is always good, use it in a bad situation and bust out the cures, i saved a bunch of PTs with it

                    Never thought I'd see the day when someone made fun of Hundred Fists, even if it was just a joke.

                    Hundred Fists is easily among the best (if not "the" best) two-hours in the game. Your damage output goes absolutely through the roof and you gain TP like a madman. Finish off the two-hour with a boosted WS of your choice (if the mob is even still alive at this point...).

                        100 Fists is by far one of the best damaging 2hrs. And Redlimit has already described the benefits of it. Souleater doesn't mean instant death... if that is what you think, than you should play Drk more and realize that you are wrong.

                        Yes it does get hate, and used with Blood weapon it does reasonably well.

                          The joke being that you'd kill yourself in a matter of seconds (with a spectacular damage output though)

                            Yes thats what it does... 10% would take 10 hits to kill you (assuming it takes it from your total HP) and since Souleater only lasts for 1 minute, you aren't going to get 10 scythe hits in. Also it dosen't drain HP on misses.

                            P.S. I'm not certain if it takes the HP from your current or max hp, if it was current then it couldn't kill you at all (like the gravity spells in previous FF games couldn't).

                              i agree, i think they should change it. make it like nin or some thing. explode and do major dmg thet is what we are for dmg dealers, why does nin have that 2 hr the drks should get it or some thing like it ^^.

                              oo and off subject, i think we should get warp 1 we are sorta blm, and let blm have there warp2, i hate this we got the game. when Halloween was ending i had no money to get treats to get a trick staff that is total BS if u ask me. they should do the same thing this Halloween so us playing the NA v. can get this outstanding weapon^^ that is all thanks for reading :D
