Problems With Groups at 50

i got a few suggestion into gettin parties

1: work extra hard to get your fame up, like use food or pull really good. if people kno you are a good drk, they'll probably pick u when other 5 drk put their seek up
2: try to get into pt when they r almost done, be the 3rd - 5th person to get in.
3: if u have a choice of doing quest with friends, ls or lvl up in a xp party, pick exp. once your wave player around your level is above u, u'll have to wait for another lower wave to move in.

PLD's don't renki, if you have pted with PLDs that are involved in the renki, they=stupid

PLD can't do distortion unless they use a GS, which wouldn't be worth it, because in this pt, the PLD needs shield bash to help keep the hate off the BLM's

other than that, you expect this to stay on the the PLD...?

so...nearly 3000 points of damage, and no one is gonna take a few hits but the PLD? It isn't gonna happen, least w/ another melee, some hate would be put on me so that my hate+THF's hate would override the burst to let the PLD jus get it off me, gettin hate off a DRK>gettin hate off the THF and 2 BLM's...

DRGs...can't understand them...

* drg have same/lower def then drk's without attack buffs :p

* why would a thief SA+TA+WS on you if you have a tank?

* why would a thief waste that if you can do piercing ws + viper bite for distortion combo

* how do you manage to penta for 600 at lvl50?!? have you gone blind cuz i havent seen a penta go higher then 450 at that lvl (and thats if all hits connect)

* after you get hit and sheed hate who do you think is gonna get it after the mage has cured you?

I just hit 40, and it DOES help to make friends and do your job correctly. I haven't had that bad of a time findin pts so far, but I know itll all be different in a while.

but i'm determined to stick it out. i mean, who's more uber, the guy who gets to lv60 because he relies on his 'party-friendly' job, or the DRK who works extra hard and has to pull out all the stops to get any xp at all?

My first time posting outside of the monk forums. Just got curious I realize that Drk and mnk ( maybe others ) share the same weakness for PT as a dmg dealer. 50-60 range, I personally don't have much of a problem getting groups because like Crimsonbeast said I've sorta built a good rep. But if my usual party members are already grouped when I log on I'm lfg for awhile. But being there are 2 , I'm almost sure , english 50+ monks on Kujata I kinda get benefited if someone wants a Monk.

I really don't see how coming onto another job's forum and posting " I'm better then you " has any real point Kuai. Though I myself haven't had very good experinces with Drk's, I don't see it as a job weakness, more so a player one.

Anyway keep it up , we can't have everyone dropping their drk class to play a more pt friendly class. Need a little bit of everything to make it all work, besides I heard that lvl 60 WS gulliotine (sp) ,kicks ass. ^^
