DRK Elvaan?

yes the elvaan does have the most attack power according to the stat calculator...but from what i seen....the diffrence bettween the elvaan and the taru taru strength......would be a diffrerance of 4 i believe....if that bothers u i think u should go with the elvaan.....

please correct me if im wrong

It really doesn't make that much of a difference base damage-wise; the biggest difference is in the HP. Since darkness damage is dependent on your remaining HP, you'd generally want it higher, which is why Galkas make excellent DRKs. In terms of hume and elvaan, the difference is too small to be noticeable, but when comparing galka and taru, there's a good couple hundred damage difference per WS.

i mean galkas may have the HP but would they have the speed?this is probably why people dont talk about them....they think no speed means more hits on them.....is there ne real proof of this...?? im saying....instead of diffrence of strength like elvaan and taru taru....im talking about Speed between..lest say human and galka....

No, RNG's damage is much higher than DRK's, period. Not only do they get really useful abilities, but gun does almost double that of scythe per hit (bow does around the same as scythe). The cost is 10k per PT, however. It's you're choice.

I think you are thinking of dex not speed. Galkas have low dex but it is higher then an Elvaan but lower then a Hume or on par im not sure.

I totally agree, i think Galkas would make great DRKS they have tons of hp to keep them going in darkness. They have like a few pionts in pow less then an Elvaan as well

I thot that an Elvaan SAM/DRK or if your main can be DRK then DRK/SAM or DRK/WAR were the best choices for a dark knight class.

i didn't see you guys say anything about samurai, except for their armor looks stupid on Elvaan's.

well we dont talk about samurais being a sub because having it as a sub would make the night have massive attack power...that means more hate on the dark knight...

well atleast i think this is rite...thurr mite be other problems as well

in short, Elvaans make the best DRKs

boosting VIT would be easy if I wan't starting in Sandoria...then I get this damned ring I don't want to NOT use =x since I am gettin Royal Squire armor, and maybe a little of the Royal Knight armor though, I already have some +DEX, so I'd just rather use a Sandrax Ring with my Sandoria Ring =P

that belt sounds nice too, but I bet it cost a hella lotta money

I suppose you could accurately say that an ill-equipped elvaan drk is the worst. Up to level 30, it makes almost no difference what race or sub you use. The stat differences come down to a point or 2, not enough to destroy your chances of getting a party. After level 30 there are enough accessories floating around that you can easily make yourself a viable DRK. It may cost you a lot initially, but by the time you are level 30 in 2 separate jobs, you should have figured out ways to make enough money to finiance it. Peacock Charm (if you can get it), Life Belt, a couple of rings and appropriate DEX+ or ACC+ armor pieces and you'll be fine.

I've gone through this with my monk too, the low dex really hurt until I got the right equipment. Now it's not a problem.

(and seeker bats? come on... i was killing those yesterday with a dmg:5 Artemis Wand to up my club skill )
