I am aware that bards are usually in high demand, but it seems like I'm getting more invites nowadays. Am I just lucky or am I the only serious bard on Remora server?

post 51/55 bards are REALLY in demand for their songs, but between 41 and that time, most partys are too noobie and think rdm are better, when they aren't, so i think its just a normal spike you'll see

I wouldnt make a comparison like that between rdms and brds. Theyre different, one isnt better than the other overall.

Once you get close to ballad 2, people begin to understand how powerful brds are in party play. Happens to lots of jobs, it just happens kinda late for brds. Most jobs get all their job defining traits early early on, but brds start out a little slow but explode with good stuff around 2/3 the way through 75.

I experience this lack of general knowledge for bard between 41-55 first hand.

During the 40's in CN, I was asked by this DRK leader in party chat to leave his party so he can get a RDM to replace me. >.<

The only funny part was that when the WHM and THF saw I was booted, they disbanded from that PT and asked me to rejoin them and start our own party. We found a blink tank, and life was wonderful.

I noticed a big drop in invites around 37-45 I dunno why, but I would seek for like 4-5 hours each day, it was insane. Now I'm lv47 and I'd say so far I get about as many invites as any mage would, maybe a little less than say a WHM or BLM. I am hopefully of things picking up after 55 :D
