I've officially come to a decision! ^.^ If I ever get the game (my mom gets paid tomorow, so I'm going to politely and carefully ask her), I'm going to be an Elvaan THF/NIN, or maybe a RNG/something. That's my almost officially official decision.

I wouldn't recommend THF/NIN any more unless you need to pull something that runs faster than you (Tigers, Raptors, Coeurls, etc.) After the patch, /NIN lost its main advantage (faster TP gain.) THF/WAR now pulls ahead in the damage department while having equal or better TP gain (better at 50, with Double Attack coming into play.) As for RNG, the main two subs are /WAR and /RNG.

Im kind of new to the whole mage thing (and FFXI) i just started since ive leveled my warrior to 15, and theif to 9 i wanted to try i mage im doing alright but i need to know where to find ginger cookies?

In Bastok, the only way to get Ginger Cookies is via the Auction House. Otherwise your other option is to travel to Windurst and buy them at a (much reduced) price from the vendors there.
