    I use the Wyvern earring personally for my Sam/Drg combo.
    Gkatana haste is great for TP plus the extra jump attack for TP makes easier self SC's. Plus my dmg output is quite a bit increased over a war sub, but then again I don't get berserk.

    I have tested the wyvern earring, and for most Gkatana delays it kills about a second off the delay time.

    I don't understand the belts at all though, doesn't make sense that they would be subjob requirements considering getting skill boosts for say +5 Greataxe skill with war sub, when most jobs you sub to war can't even use Greataxe.... weird..:confused:

      Okay, then, why does the lvl 60 rings, such as the Kampfer Earrings, say Latent Effect: Counterattack +5, but yet the only job it can be equipped on is a MNK? Does this mean you can equip it only if you have the MNK subbed?

        Because each 'series' of latent effect items has different conditions for latent effects.

        The level 30 'series' of earrings/belts require a particular job to be subbed to activate the latent effect. From what I understand, the level 60/70 'series' of earrings requires yellow HP and TP less then 100%.

        The only thing Square has said about latent items is that each item has different conditions to be met for the effect to be activated.

          Amen! I agree, it just seems totally pointless..I mean what good is +5 GA Skill when you don't even use a GA! It's stupid really...

            LAZY SE!!!

            If you ask me, I think Square-Enix need to get off their lazy asses and WRITE the DETAILS for these items already!!! We are not even sure what the conditions for these are...

            Same thing goes for some other items: Dune Boots (+30 Kick Damage). DOES IT SAY THAT ON THE ITEM!!!?!
