Best Job suited for Elvaan

I was just wondering with the stats provided with Elvaan what Job class(s) would suit the race best.

in my honest opinion, i would say Paladin, elvaan have best mind, meh mp, best str, good hp, good vit. Its what u need in a paladin. Galka palys are good too but i dont like the look of them in their armor lol. But they have barely any mp which doesnt help a lot. I would rather know i can heal myself then have extra def

I don't think thats true I personally think Galka's make better Paladin's because of there high amount of VIT which makes them last longer in a battle while a Elvaan has less VIT. But Elvaans can be good at Samurai, Dragoon, Warrior , Dark Knight and even White Mage because of there good MND.

mind has little to do with being a dark knight, you need intelligence for your black magic power. Elvaan are not so good with intelligence, but at least with Mind, being a paly they will have more resistance against status illness (like poison), good mp to back you up, not to mention powerful healing. and elvaan have good hp. Galka do have the vit and hp, but you need more than that. But i think galka make better dark knights than elvaan.

Paladin would probably be the best. Also any of the other high damage melee classes would be good for elvaan.

They also have the highest cha. Doesn't Cha determine the effectiveness of taming monsters with a Bst?

Humes, elvaan, and taru are all tied for best charisma. Mithra and galka are tied for worst charisma.

all about equip compensation, with equip compensation you can make anything work. but the "ideal" job for elvaans are, paladin,bst,brd,drk,monk,warrior,dragoon,samurai

Are you talking aesthetically I hope?

Humes give you flexibility, but that doesn't help much when you settle on a class and you need stats.

Elvaan give you high STR and MND, but weak DEX and moderate AGI. They make great PALs IMO.

Taru are casters, period. If you want to be a melee with Taru, it's definately not because you want to be the best race for the class, at that point it's all roleplay.

Mithra by far are one of the best classes for melee, with the best DEX and AGI they hit the most often, though they are frail. I'd say the best non-tank-melee race goes to Mithra.

Galka, though brutish and bulky have good STR, great VIT and amaizingly decent DEX and AGI. They're a good choice for nearly any melee that doesn't need MP.

I just can't understand why someone would say that Mithra and Galka are the worst races...right now, as I'm in "specialized" mode, my Hume choice doesn't seem to have been the best choice - though it's one of the easiest to identify with and look at.

White Mage because of there good MND

That extra MND doesn't help you White Mage job very much, heals just reach the heal cap 1 or two levels earlier. So if you want to play WHM pick another job for your own sake. :sweat:

The Elvaan are great for pretty much every melee jobs out there but I'd say that they make excellent Paladins. They also make great Dark Knights.

Elvaan whm/smn is a force. althougth their MP is lower than tarus, the extra vitality allows them to take more damage. A dead taru mage can't do any healing.

The best elvaan Job is probably PLD.
