Getting Advanced Jobs/ ^_^

You have to be level 30 to get the quest, but you don't have to be level 30 to finish it. (You can die and de-level while attempting and still receive the job without leveling back up to 30).

Getting lvl 30 was relatively easy for me as a WAR. It just took some time. about the lvl 30 thing. It's true, you only have to be lvl 30 to GET the quest, not to complete it. Happened to me with DRG. I died and delvled while fighting the dragon because of some technical issues of me and a few others being the only ones allowed into the battle field.

rawr, wow I think by far that drk is the best I don't know why, maybe because the armor that we get to wear when its our main job is just bad @$$...Thats what I think but I could be wrong and other people got a different point of view then me. But all I want now is my DRK, i got a summoner right now and thats working out great with a BLM subjob.

Can you start out as the advanced jobs after you've unlocked them with another character? I heard about some people starting as lv1 paladins and beast tamers.

I'm pretty sure that u can't start with an advanced job no matter what u do cause I've never seen any1 with an advanced job without a subjob, which means that they had to play through the game till they got
-subjob
-lvl30
-finished quest

like all advanced jobs drg pld drk smn bst sam nin u ned to be lvl 30 AND do a quest to recieve the job

I saw this a long time ago, but i never read it cause it ruins the feel to get it...

BTW u dont HAVE to have a subjob to get an advanced job... its just something extra for a boost. but it is HIGHLY recommended because it is easier to get into pts and stuff... < and not having one makes u sometimes seem n00bish>

For the BRD flag quest, it should be dually noted that Pikini-Mikini no longer sells paper. I found this out the hard way when I did the quest way back when...had to go ALL the way back to Jeuno to get paper.

For all aspiring BRDs out there, make sure you buy paper from the AH before you go off on this quest.
