  • Chocobo knight....VERY DOABLE:)

    The chocobo knight is a rare breeed of warrrior , their skills reside on the fact that they use, chocobos to mount their assaluts and attacks on the enemy. They use hit and run tactics and the power of the chocobo to do this with. Contrary to popular belief the chocobo knight does ride a chocobo to get to the battle , But once the battle begins something stange happens.

    The mount and the rider become one entity to combat their foes. thereby becoming stronger and faster and gaining some of the immunity of each .The rider is bathed in the aura of the current chocobo he is using.
    The chocobo knight and the chocobo share a symbiotic relationship and grow at the same pace as each other .
    The chocobo knight must raise his companion(s) from babies to full fledged chocobos.

    The chocobo knight also gains a better advantage over most classes in that he does not need to be near a stable to get a chocobo , He just summons his companion to his side.

    NOTE: This class is a graphics intense class and IF ever implemented you better have a beefy machine . Their would be tons of special effects to this class. The knight would have the power to basically fuse together with the chocobo adn when using his two hour their would literally be up to 4 chocobos on one enemy per second for 30 seconds.

      Abilities

      Passive:
      lvl1:Chococbo: Gains the ability to summon a chocobo to his side from anywhere, except in cities.

      lvl5:Resist bind

      lvl10:Resist slow

      lvl10:Defense power up

      lvl15:attack power up

      lvl20:Resist gravity



      Active Ability:
      2hr ability duration:32 seconds
      Chobi stomp:In dire circumstances Can summon his companion to constanly bash an enemy with kicks and stomps at a rate of 1 choco per second for 32 seconds.
      IF the knight has all four chocobos , that is 8 attacks per chocobo.

      Infuse :When activated the knight can infuse his companion to himself and willglow with the aura of the chocobo currently infused with. he will chose the chocobo(note: best to make a macro for this ability or else youd be swimming in menus)
      Duration 5 minutes refresh 10 minutes

      Essence: Can gainthe ability of the chocobo to increase his land speed by double for 2 minutes:
      Refresh is 5 minutes

        The chocobos

        YEllOW :level1-25
        Moves as is normal in the game and is the basic chocobo you get when first becoming a knight.

        Enfusing bonuses: str+2 dex +3 agility +2 Mnd+2
        REsist Earth+3,
        Special attacks :Esuna or cure once every 1 minute

        RED:level26-50

        Can climb any mountainous terrain(basically instead of having to look for a path around formations this chocob will just run up it)

        Ensuing bonuses :Str+2 dex+1 agility +2 Int+2
        Resist Fire+3
        Special attack :Chobi Ball:Fires a ball of glowing energy at a foe 1 every minute:


        Indigo(blackish/blue)level 51-75
        Rare breed of chobo that can move at double the speed of a normal chocobo.

        Enfuse bonuses: STr+3 Dex+3 Agility+3 Vit +3
        REsist water +3

        Gold level 75+
        VERY rare
        THe rarest breed of chocobo , This will you give you a mounted flying companion.When summoned you will be able to fly across land at the speed of a black chocobo.
        (graphically would be a sight to see, what would happen is the knight would summon it. HE would mount it and able to fly above thr ground . does not take terrain into account at all,so he could fly over chasms and what not.)

        Enfuse bonuses: Str+3 DEx+5 Agility +5 Vit +5 Mnd+1 Int+1
        Resist WInd+5 Attack speed+3%
        Special attack:
        Haste, evasion up

              Pretty sweet idea... like you said its doable but like Kosh stated you should put a disclaimer on so you dont make people think its real.

              By the way i love the idea of being able to raise a chocobo from a baby to an adult i think they should do that and i hope they allow you to do that in later patches maybe if they make it very hard to raise a chocobo it could happen since you would no longer have to go to stables to get one...

                Yes!!! Chocobo Knight would be really cool. It seems really possible too, but the flying ability and what not would be hard for PT >_<, meh they can catch up .

                      Well, you could have it that your pet chocobo would go off into the wild after your done with it. Then, the only way to summon it would to use a Chocobo Whistle.

                      And you could make a Whistle run around a few hundered gil, making the knights have some advantage (they could get the chocobo anywhere), but still make the chocobo not be free.

                        I was gonna say need rare gyshal greens but the whistle idea works very well.



                        1 Whistle for each color chobi.

                        and the whistle would require elemnatl properties also .

                        so a red whistle needs to be made with fire as an element , a piece of a rare fire monster like a NM BOMB type boss, a rare metal forged in flame, cost xxxxx amount in gil, and must do a quest .

                        that way a knight has to work for his chobi.

                        because a Chobi Knights passive ability is to get a chocobo at level 1 anyway , doesnt mean it has to be easy to get the chobi ..

                        I dig that whistle idea NIco

                        do me a favor and make the four whistles and the some minor quest details and lets see how it works.

                          your crazy.. its not doable.. maybe if they just made a Knight and not a chocobo knight. There are areas that are restricted and chocobos cant be used there

                            You're crazy, there's already a Warrior, what exactly would be the point of a Knight? And the Chocobo Knight doesn't always have to use his/her chocobo, they could fight without it. Or it could be made so Chocobos could go into these restricted areas.

                              already a warrior, what the point of a knight? then what's the point of a paladin, dark knight, etc.. ever played tactics no chocobo knights, theres a squire ( kinda like a warrior) and theres a knight. altho the knight ablities from tactics wouldnt make much sense in this game.
