Hey guys, I'm looking to return to Vana'diel since a long vacation of two years. My previous character is lost in the shuffle of square records. Hello I played FFXI 2 years ago and I was thinking about playing it again. I have some fond memories of the game and I miss it ^_^. I wonder if it will be like I remember it (O_O) *it's silly but it makes me a little nervouse lol*. Anyway I would so be happy if someone would give me a buddy kye thank you!

GENTLEMEN.

First and foremost, some of the older members here might actually remember me! I am from Midgardsormr server and an NA beta tester, former 75 Dark Knight as of four years ago. I quit in early 2005 and migrated to WoW, where I've been since. I've currently canceled my WoW account, and am actually waiting on WAR Open Beta to start (got my pre-order collector's edition stuff all set and ready ) and would like to make a return to Vanadiel.

My problem? Well, over the last four years, I lost my beta account info :p And I'm a very stingy person, preparing to move off to college (Virginia Tech GO HOKIES!) and would like to confirm if the game still has its feel that it had so many years ago.

I LOVED the atmosphere of this game, the community, the sense of wonder that came with every turn that was so absent from WoW (which I will admit I enjoyed, and I was a vet. Naxx raider as well as exaulted with every BG and rank 10 PVP, I LOVED vanilla, but TBC's changes somewhat ruined it for me). I'm highly interested in returning for a few month visit, but after the disapointment that was AoC (I could run it fine on max settings with my monster rig, but after the standard raisers that were games like WoW, FFXI, ect, the game was released with too little content and felt very unpolished) I'm somewhat wary of plopping down 30 bucks for a new MMO (yes, I know, its only 30 bucks for EVERYTHING, but I'm a cheap bastard that needs a 2 grand tablet for my Engineering major ) without giving it a trial run

Hello, I'm requesting a buddy pass to get into the game. My friend is about to reactivate his account and I'd love to play with him but he already used up his own buddy pass. In exchange I could offer up some of my own games:

I've been an avid FF player ever since the series first graced our American shores, this is the only entry I've not played. I feel incomplete so I was hoping to gain a buddy pass and try it out.
