Incorrect Playonline ID or Password

I just made an account a little bit ago but when I try to log in it tells me that my ID or password is incorrect.
I know it is not so does anyone know how to fix this?

If you're sure you didn't record the user name and password incorrectly, you can always try contacting PlayOnline Support:

(I'm assuming you're in North America - if you're elsewhere in the world, make sure you go to the appropriate region site for Square-Enix)

Have you also tried to create a "Square-Enix" account? I know of a few people who get the "Incorrect password or Playonline ID" because they have NOT create a "Square-Enix" account.
