Problem Please help me!! :(

Ok, I am running into a problem, I would first like to admit that I played FFXI when it first came out in 2003 for the ps2. But I havent played it in almost 2 years, I tried getting back on in October, but it said I had the wrong POL ID or password, and I havent changed in of this information sense I quit. Did my account get deleted or what? on top of that I lost the game it came with, so I dont even know the bar code thing that I need to re-sign up. Or can I re-activate my old POL ID? I cant do it till 8pm my time tonight though because of the servers being down and all. Someone please help me so I can please play I am confused....:| Also, I dont care how I play the damn thing I just want to!!!!

EDIT: Ok one more thing, could their be a problem because we got a new phone company or somthing?? it seems to log right in like the connection is right it probly is right but could of somthing got screwd up when we changed the phone company??

Wrong POL ID or password means exactly that; either you are misremembering your POL login account details or you (for some reason) deleted your POL ID when you quit. If you deleted your POL ID you're out of luck, since I don't know of any way to recover lost IDs that have been deliberately deleted.

Failing that, if you're interested in recovering your POL ID (this would be a good idea since you already have the game), contact PlayOnline Support by telephone and have them verify the login and password details for you. You'll need to provide some personal information for them so that they know that you are you.

If not, the 2007 Vana'diel Collection is out now, and it's not expensive at all (also a free 30day trial for you and a friend). It also includes all the expansions, which I'm sure you don't have.

hmmm, I was just thinking that I am screwd..well like Omecle said, I will just buy the vana'diel collection 2007 for 30 bucks for my comp. I dont know if it will work though lol...but yeah thanks. Also, can I just buy the regular version for my computer and use the verivacation code on my ps2 if it doesnt work on my computer?? thanks!

You can use PC registration codes on a PS2. Though, you will have to buy PS2 versions of Expansion packs if you do not have them. Just to get the software on the PS2.

Hey thanks that helps alot!!! now that makes me feel better. I also have all the expasion packs accept for the new one...but I wont get their for awile so I wont worry about that just yet lol.
