Content ID Creation

Hello, I am an old player of FFXI from years ago. I recently left FFXI for about 18 months and came back to a deleted content ID (76 days of playtime using /played). However, I still want to play the game and am in the process of creating a content ID. For the past hour though, while trying to create my ID, I get to the last step and get an UCS-4000 error (The server is busy. Please try again later). Has anyone heard of any server maintenance going on tonite, or if the registration servers are having any trouble. I'd really like to get my ID created and the download started tonite since I figure I have at least 3+ hours of patches to download.

There have been quite a few intense periods of Registration Server Maintenence in the last few days, as the PlayOnline Team has been reworking the membership section of PlayOnline.

In addition, there's the upcoming regular maintenence on the first of every month.

While there's no scheduled maintenence today or tomorrow, there is probably a lot of server traffic, so all I could say is that you can keep trying now or try again later.

Registration servers should be fine at the moment. You should contact PlayOnline Support and check your router settings.
