As for the Stalin thing, I googled "Heroes of Socialism" and Stalin was the first relevant option to go with. There were lots of Obama pictures ahead of him. I chose Stalin.

Socialism is the mentality that everything should be even at the expense of those that are successful, it dovetails neatly into communism, but its not exactly the same thing. Socialism turns everyone into a number and allocates resources based on who the the government thinks is more important. That's why socialism is a terrible system.

Communism is taking it a step further. Government instead decides your role in society based off your talents rather than letting the individual decide what is right for themselves. The second the government finds someone better, you lose your prestige and get tucked away and some neat little corner if they can afford to give you at least that much.

Way to simplify and twist things.

Socialism can exist in varying degrees and in no way requires absolutely even resource allocation. It's simply the ideology that resources should be re-allocated to whatever degree is seen as desirable. Even the US, one of the most capitalist countries in the world, has many socialist policies in place which slow down the widening of the income gap. A completely free market with zero government interference would sooner or later have no middle class and only consist of a tiny super rich upper class and a massive dirt poor lower class (like feudal Europe). This is because wealth attracts more wealth. The more wealth you already have, the more additional wealth you will attract. Obviously there would eventually be civil unrest if the situation escalated like this.

Communism also comes in many flavours. We call them Stalinism, Marxism, etc. If we assume that Marxism is the original and "true" form of communism, your definition of it would be completely wrong. Marxism simply advocates that the means of production need to be owned by those who work them. It's based on the idea that the worker is always losing value to the capitalist, because if his pay was worth as much as the work he performs, why would anyone hire him? Also, because the ultimate goal of Marxism is a world without governments, there is nobody to tell you what you must do. There is nothing terrible about communism except its incompatibility with the selfish human nature.

I was actually kidding when I was acting like a nazi. If you look real close, I edited some of the tag's "for Humor's sake." I like to play devil's advocate in forums, simply for the fact it's funny to watch the responses.
