Why? Got a drop that wasn't apparently new but, somepage didn't have it...
Gotten NM rare/ex item drops for windy mission a year ago.....

Nope. I only hope someone takes the reigns and either revives the site, or compiles some of that info into new and better entries in the wiki.

Wiki entries won't solve the fact that somepages setup and search are incompatible with the way wikis work. Also, all the information somepage has already exists on ffxi.wikia.com.

In short, a pure wiki can't do what somepage does.

The thing is, nothing has been done to Somepage in a long time.

Wiki might have a lot of information, but the Somepage Advanced Search is absolutely phenomenal. The only other site that has anything even close to that functionality is Alla and they make you pay for it.

I do agree that their food analysis is the best of all other sites as well, but that page hasn't been updated in a very long time, not that it ever bothered me--most of the new foods aren't spectacular enough to warrant their inclusion over the existing ones with the possible exception of Imperial Coffee +1 which is quite nice but a tad hard to find.

The crafting recipe list is also exquisite. I use it whenever I'm skilling up any craft. I realize wiki has this, too however.

Thanks, didn't realize that was on clopedia. Like Malacite said, I hope someone makes a guide so dummies like me can learn what to eat at what levels.
