Hm, I don't know. Also, isn't Charybdis more of a "Kraken Club" kind of thing? I mean, it attacks at normal speed (240 Delay) but it can attack a lot of times on any given attack round. That would still leave room for timing spells, since all multi-hit attacks occur instantly and simultaneously, which means as long as you time it right you won't get interrupted. This sounds more like "Hundred Fists." Then again, most people don't care about that kind of detail. In any case, it may be possible. After all, I wouldn't have thought it'd be possible for a NIN to tank a mob that can attack up to 8 times per attack round.

Armando is correct about Charby. Also, she's known for having low accuracy for her level, so evasion tanks actually work despite the large volume of attacks. No idea if the sea monk for the BCNM has similar accuracy. I wouldn't say it's impossible without trying it, but I'm not too optimistic.

They might add some sort of drop to him, but I wouldn't count on a rare/ex version of KC. Dual wielding 8x attacking weapons would be interesting.

With Kraken Club's incredibly low dmg, would that be anything more than "interesting"? You'd get TP amazingly fast, but then what? Is even Hexastrike worthwhile when mainhanding Kraken Club?

People kill Aquarius only if they still need/want a fransisca. He still drops "something." They might add some sort of drop to him, but I wouldn't count on a rare/ex version of KC. Dual wielding 8x attacking weapons would be interesting.
I think they'll just remove him from the game.

yea, thats what i meant by having him drop some semi-decent rare.ex item.
but for the most part, i'd say 95% of the time hes hanging out in that little pond, no one bothers to touch him.

The jobs that can use this like drk, nin, rng, pld etc. usually off hand this club for TP gain. They still have their main weapon. so for a nin, senju+kc would be just massive blade:jin spam. or sidewinder spam, rampage spam, etc.

Two things that are interesting about this, 1, how often will the KC drop, and 2, how retardedly easy is the BC once someone figures out that you can just burn it to the ground while having someone either kite it around or stand there long enough to survive the barrage of hits (pld invin/sentinel) before his dmg starts to look like crap (from how wiki said this bc works). I'm just wondering what will happen to LoO and no, we don't need retards weilding KC's all over the place.

Might work with Drk using 2hr maybe, I've seen screenshots of them hitting 200+ each with kraken.

i'm not the one to nitpick but really... what zones other than lowbie zones can you walk around fully w/o sneak/invis? not every area is supposed to be a safe zone you can just run around freely in.

A level 75 can run around that area of Onzozo aggro free as long as one does not meet up with a NM. AFAIK, nothing in that area is above level 60.

A lv75 will still aggro Toramas, the Goblin Alchemists etc, the Manticores and the Wyvern so thats wrong.

In the "area" that LoO spawns nothing is over 60 except nms. Haggai said area not the whole zone.
