I think we should convince the RMTs that there's more money to be made by jumping over to FF XII.

            LOL!

Though as hard as it is to figure out how to make some of those hunt marks appear (stupid Trickster!), it sure feels like there are RMTs sometimes.

You know something? I usually play portable stuff when I'm riding the train or something...I guess not everyone is like me XD

P.S.: I know it's hard to get a party at 41...it's just harder than usual!

                  That alone makes XII better....

I'm one of the 'missing XP'ing' crowd. I've been playing FFXII and PSU and to be honest, have no real desire to come back to do much on XI. I logged on yesterday to check on my chocobo and really couldn't see what it was that had me so addicted pre-XII/PSU.

Once I finally got out of XI for a while, I don't feel the horrible pull to go back like I used to. I keep my charries, I'm sure I'll get back around to levelling them someday, but it's really low on my list of priorities for now. I think the RMT/prices/elitism/'gotta do what I say'-ness of the entire system just finally got too much to handle.

Re: mystery of the missing FFXI players

It gets worse and when you think about it, even the other MMOs are probably taking a big hit on NA populations right now. I know have the EU side of my HNMLS imported FFXII and we've even pulled in NA/EU PC gamers who were oblivious to the other installments of the series.

PS3, Wii and new Zelda arrive very soon. Had I the money to even get a new system, FFXII, FFIII, FFV Advance, Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin AND Zelda would totally pull me out of this game for a good bit.

I'm honestly mystified why the US market gets all their games in one big heap and then tablescraps for most of the year. I mean, yeah, Christmas is a good time to sell sequels and big hype titles but publishers literally murder their own smaller, original titles on this time frame as well.

At least Nippon Ichi, Bioware, Bethesda and a handful of others aren't that crazy.
