6 Chars. Orignally i started with just Akashimo and a mithra Aishimo with the face F6-A had to delete her cause of paying online fees back then v.v; about a year ago, I gotten a new mithra orignally bazaar mule, now full time second lvling char, Nekoai :3 3 other chars as mules, each in the starting cities. Taru war miniaka, bastok, which will be a drg if i ever get the will power for a 3rd full time char. Elvaan female, san d'oria Elveena <.<; not creative on the name, strictly armor, ammo and spell stortage mule. Last my current bazzar mule in windy, elvaan male, Chaoticakashimo sells random pty drops and does my gardening :x

Just my main, Susurrus (started at NA PC release).

Also I have 2 mules (Susurrusrebirth and Susurrusrespect - named after DDR Paranoia songs), for storage/AH spaces but haven't done anything else with them (one in San d'Oria and one in Jeuno).

I didn't start over like all of you guys did, I don't know why you did, since it is quite easy to change jobs, no matter how difficult or challenging it is.
two of my favorite jobs at level 75. With a couple of relics for both jobs.

I think I had 4 main characters at one point (2 of them since deleted on another server) and about 22 mules.

Playing WOW, so I had to suspend one of the accounts since it makes no sense to accrue charges for not even playing the game. I still log on and say hi to a couple of my best friends and still trying to get RDM gear for less than 1/2 of what is currently being charged for on the AH.

No success yet (Damn those river gaiters!)

BTW, WOW is no different. I have 8 main characters. Yes, 8. Total of over 300 levels.

I don't get it. It seems you have more than one mithra character. What's the point of leveling two different characters up like this? It's not like you can't just level one character and not get confused by switching with more than one character. (unless it's for space purposes), but that's just me. :x

I had about that many as well. It was a combination of wanting to play everything, not being able to figure out what I wanted, and having a lot of crafting mules.

Back when I started, I initially created a San d'Orian Elvan RDM that I got to 22. Then, for several reasons (some of which I think were very short-sighted now), I re-rolled as a Taru WHM (still Sandy ), which I regard as my main.

So, I have:

1.) Jugil, my main character
2.) My initial character, who now serves as my Jeuno/Alchemy Supplies mule.
3.) Bastok mule for AH services and Goldsmithing/Mining Supplies mule
4.) Windy mule for AH and Cooking Supplies
5.) Sandy mule for AH and lesser crafting supplies/crystals
6.) One more Sandy mule for gear on my various jobs

So, six characters in total

I've only had 2 main characters.

1) When I 1st started playing the game, I made a San d'Orian hume MNK named Marcos on the Gilgamesh server.

2) I finally got a WP to be on this server with my friends & made my current character.

I had a tarutaru main, a hume main, and two mithra mains.

Plus I really wanted to see if race gave any advantage to any job. Which it does (to a small degree) and since I was able to experience that first hand, I think at least that answered my curiousity.

I only have 1 plus a sandy mule, and I'm thinking of getting 2 more mules to have in Jueno and Windy for the sole reason that I'm real picky and like to play alot of different jobs >_>, so I need space for the equipment. Also want access to the different AH's.

I can't stand the idea of actually releveling a whole character all over again. Scares me <_<.

When leveling up my tarutaru, I felt the same way. I got frightened. Mostly with the prospects of having to do the same stuff all over again. Probably with a different set of nubs than before.

However, that faded away quickly when I had fun. This game is so much more enjoyable in the first stages and that I encourage all new players to take their time with their new characters.

For those of you who've been playing awhile and feel jaded, start a new character. This also will help you refresh your experiences and may even "humble" you in the process (So you won't give those high and mighty answers to new players and can provide a more sensible perspective into discussions)

I like questing. I can do the Star Onion Brigade 30 times and not get tired of it. In fact, I enjoy it more when I do it more.

3 mules (one of which is a Galka with 98 cooking. Maybe one of these centuries when I have infinite free time I'll level him up as an alternate NIN and Paladin tank and get the +3 cooking katana...)

I have to agree with Aeni: Starting up a new character is a lot of fun, especially since you already know what you're doing and can 'get it right' this time around!

I started off on Asura, and got to 30mnk/15war there before deleting that and making a new character on Midgard with my roommate.

I started up a hume male - Hermod, which I levelled to 25war/15mnk in sandy. I created a hume female mule in Bastok - Idun - as a whm1. I started levelling Idun and she finally became my main. A new mule appeared in windy, with a definate mule's name - Secretshopper, but I still levelled this mithra to 21rdm and got a choco license!

I went back and got Hermod through his rank 5, and war30/mnk20, then opened bst on him to see how it would play out. Meanwhile, my main was getting up there in the 50's so I made a new bastok mule, Freyja, another hume female.

After getting to rank 10 Bastok, I changed to Sandy and got rank 10 there, then to Windy and got to rank 7. About this time, I ran afoul of another player on my main and decided to leave the world for a while, so I deleted Freyja and created Annarie (hume f, bastok) on Lakshmi. I levelled her to 30whm/30blm/10mnk in the space of 3 weeks!!! Why mnk? Mnk can equip the whm staff and get the skill levels up a lot faster than a whm can - makes whm1-10 a lot easier if you can actually hit the mobs!

Once things had calmed down, I started levelling Idun again, finally getting to whm70. I deleted Annarie after giving away all my gear to anyone I found running around in an exp area and recreated my Bastok mule on Midgard as a hume f - Kisha. Around this time I changed shifts and started working 3pm to 11pm with Mon/Tue as my days off. I started levelling bst since I could no longer get decent parties outside the normal NA peak hours. There were a few JP that would invite an NA player, but not enough - bst was more fun than hours of lfp!

I finally joined a sky LS (Enmity) and got my whm to 75 for it, but then discovered that the only days I could play in sky (Mon/Tue) was when they did farming - they did all the NMs and God fights on other days while I was working, so I ended up having to quit the shell

Currently, I'm up to 67bst and levelling very slowly towards 75. Not because I'm a bad player or don't know the job, but I have more fun helping other people do things than I do levelling! I have soloed testys for RDM, WHM, BLM, WAR, MNK (and lost count of the number I've thrown away while levelling!), I've done the rank 5 mission 74 times to date and have it down to a fine art, I helped on the G2 3 times for 3 different groups yesterday. I've done more trips to Eldeime, GC and CN to help with G1 items than I care to recall.

I'm currently contemplating starting another new character up, just to get back to basics for a bit. Yes, its a bind having to do all that over again, but knowing what to do and how to do it makes it much more fun. The biggest obstacle is, and always will be, that darn rank 2 dragon! People just don't want to get out their level 25 gear!!
