Ive been planning to get a party and pop this NM. Whats the best party mix for fighting this thing? Im hoping to at least bring 2 level 75 people with me there.

How many will you have all together? Checking from somepage it says 6 people level 70, so I'd say 3 75's with /nin preferably would handle it no problem...otherwise, take some people that are up for some random fun down there, and just let Shii use them as punching bags :3

Thanks to Roguewolf for the sig. :D

      Re: Shii

Yeah somepage is a little weird sometimes. I read some people can solo it. The placeholders are probably around level 66 or so. I just cant get enough people to come at the right time since I dont know a lot of people with level 70-75 jobs.

I did scout this place in the weekend.

I wouldn't mind coming on Tuesday, I remember you being on Midgard I believe...I'm 75mnk/war and I guess I can come /whm if I had to ; ; But yea, I can come if you give me fair warning on Tuesday night :D (Reikouki is my in-game name) And I'll prolly end up bringing a few people with me

Thanks to Roguewolf for the sig. :D

          Thanks I really appreciate it.

I'll send you a tell tonight. I'll ask the 2 people who are willing to help me if they can come on tuesday.

Never fought this, but if it's level 70 it should be pretty easy to beat with a trio of 75s, though add effect: Terror might be a problem. I assume that's why somepage's recommended party is a group of 6.

Brink a blinktank and a low-enmity healer and you're probably OK.

I forgot, what does Terror do by the way?

Terror is like Stun, except it can't be removed by any spell or effect. Usually lasts a good long while, too. You literally freeze in place and can do nothing until it wears off.

                  No resist food?
I notice that garlic cracker has an undead killer effect, would this help?

Not against the Terror effect, no, since it's an add effect, though it might save you from one or two melee attacks.

As far as I know, no food has a Resist Terror effect (and would be hard to verify, since not many enemies have the ability). Off the cuff, the only normal enemy type that has a Terror attack are Hippogryffs, which use the eye-contact WS Jettatura (learnable by BLU). All the rest are NMs of one sort or another: All Wyrms and great Dragons (Fafnir, Nidhogg, Ouryu, Tiamat, Jormungand, Vrtra) have it in the form of the WS Absolute Terror. There's probably some others that I'm forgetting.

Moral of the story: Blink-tank this or face the consequences.

Im having a bit of a hard time getting people together. So far I can probably say only 2 people are usually around to help me out.
