Samurais and Ninjas

Am I the only one that dislikes these two jobs? I think there are too many melee classes. And Ninja/Samurai was never a part of the whole FF scene if I can remember correctly. Seeing skills like "Uchi: X" or whatever gets old after a while. If anyone can name an example of a Samurai or Ninja in FF then please prove me wrong.

Auron (ff X) is a samurai and Shadow (ff VI) is a ninja. I just proved you wrong.

While you may not be the only one who dislikes them, you're probably in the minority. NIN is one of the most popular and useful jobs in the game, and SAM is a heck of a lot of fun and useful besides.

I can't think of many examples (Was Auron a SAM?) from past Final Fantasies, but that doesn't mean that they don't have a place in FFXI.

edit: Mog beat me to it, but yeah, Shadow from FFVI was a NIN.

Sam and Nin were jobs in FF5 (JP).

And a lot of other installments.

Ninja was also in FF1. You don't get much more into FF then that.

Cyan was a Samurai in FF6

(im just naming off ones that havent been named)

ff tactics had both

Yuffie was a ninja.

FFIII had ninjas as a job

Theyre everywhere

Ya I think my memory mixed up 4 and 5 and thought it was 6. I played them all one after the other once they were re-released.
