My hubby and I both play but thankfully not at the same time. There was one guy in an LS I used to be in that hit on me constantly even though he knew my hubby was in the LS as well. I took his blatent innuendos as joking around and although my hubby didn't say anything, I could tell he was jealous. My hubby's solution to the problem was to demand gil from him every time he propositioned me. It became a joke in the LS that my hubby was trying to sell me off to the highest bidder. A pity my hubby thought my time was only worth a million in gil at the time...

to be honest ... i've never been sexually harrassed in MMO's, and i've always had a female character. maybe it's that i've always picked the female characters that aren't very sexually attractive in the first place ...

I've had a few people hit on my Mithras before, but nothing too serious. They tend to be kinda lame, though, really half-heartened or down-right embarassing pick-up lines. People asking me if I'm a girl IRL (Answer: "why?"), or the funniest...

But I do sometimes wish I'd picked a Tarutaru, because no one harasses taru like they do Mithra.

As for general decency, I'm not finding more problems now than at any time before... and that was never very many in the first place.

The funny thing is that the little kids that grab mithra's behinds don't realize that the behind the mithra is a guy.....

As for flirting in-game, I joke around, but I'm never too serious. Moreover, I get to know the person before I start "flirting". If I know she's married, I back off, but if she's all about it, I roleplay a bit.

I do have a mild infatuation with one of the "Girls" in my LS. It is actually the alt. character of one of the guys in my LS.

It all started out when his orriginal alt. char. was going to participate in an LS jungle party I was in. I had never seen this character so when I first spyed this Elvaan Female where I expected a Hume Male I /stared.

Well, that earned me a slap and I was told to stop looking at her legs. *LOL*

Well, that character was deleted and replaced with another that looks exactly the same, though I did say once that the orriginal character had better legs, though I would never tell the new one that.

Every now and then when he speaks through the female, I *Swoon* and usually I get a slap or see Wierdo come through LS chat. But that's about it.

Though, I would never do it with someone I didn't know and if I thought the guy was getting mad about it I would stop, but he just laughs when I bring it up.

I'll admit I'm one to pull sexual shenanigans on occasion, but exclusively in LS chat only. It's never serious, and I think the rest of my LS is more lewd than I am most of the time.

I don't think I ever emote outside of LS chat, perhaps I'm afraid of attracting attention, which would probably send a multitude of emotes coming my poor mithra's way.

It was funny, one time as my party was on it's way to the Boyahda tree, the taru in my party came up and demanded a lap dance from me, so just for fun I used my super jump macro on him, he was rather surprised to say the least

I don't mind role playing a bit, but there is a limit to how far I want to take it.

I have a friend that loooves to be overtly sexual in public chat. I love her to death, but it's so embarassing. Bystanders don't tend to react well.

Well I don't have a problem with minor sexual talk. It's the XXX stuff that puts me off. I banter with the guys in my ls. We all have fun because they know I mean nothing by it since my husband is in the same ls and I WAY older than they are. I harass one guy and tell him that every time I do a favor for him that he owes me time in the hostel *wink wink*. I even had a couple of macros where I say *pinches <t>s cute buns!* but I only use it on friends that I know are not offended. Simple silly stuff is fun and only human nature. Things that describe sexual acts/genitals/etc have no place in public/ls chat.

My HNMLS has a "No Minors Policy", which is a blessing, and a curse. We kicked out the last young teenager. He was 13 years old, and every other conversation involving him was about Boobies, or gay people..... So he was booted when he got on everyone's nerves. I know we do have some people under 18 in the LS, but they're mature enough to become part of an adult conversation. Any pinching of the butt or anything else from the like is done jokingly in LS chat. And a lot of us played football in high school, so most of the time you'll see, /em whips <t> with a towel. Our sexual conversations are usually very mild. If we want to get into detail, many of us have the common sense to take it in /tell. The mis-tells are hilarious though. Actually, a friend of mine and I will brag to eachother in /tell about our sexual conquests from time to time. It's a dude thing. >.> But since most of us are adults, there's not many people on when an NM is going to pop, so we have to wait for it's ToD to shift into a very precise window. That's what makes it bad. Minors can be good since they can play longer, and be on more, but IMO, my LS is happier now.

It really only depends on the maturity level of the person who's playing their character. I'm sure not all young teenagers are immature and perverted. And I'm positive there's people who are 20+ that are just as immature as a 12 year old.

As for me, I'm 19. Most other guys my age who are at college end up talking about how hot the girls are there. All I hear about is T n' A from them. When I want to know about how their campus is,or how good is their psychology department is. Right now I'm focused more on setting up a career for myself, instead of focusing on if the blonde in front of me is wearing a thong or not....... Some people are just idiots.

Also, one more thing I want to point out. If the Mithra that you see comes up and starts doing overtly sexual gestures to you...99% of the time, it's a Manthra. Most females, from 15+ don't do things like that to people they don't know. It's a guy screwing around with you, seeing if you'll do something back.

Conclusion: Any "cybering" is seriously dumb.

I left my last LS because they lacked a lot of the most common sense and decency. I'm now back with the LS I should have never left, as well as another friendly one. The old one had a lot of issues with racism, vulgarities, constantly incorrect information, substance abuse, and a leader who seemed to feel threatened by me 24/7 and attempted to turn everything into an arguement.

Khronicles is the only LS I've really felt at home in, and even though it only has four or five regular members it's still the best. The success of a society really depends on the leader(s) within. Our server to server societies are based on the leaders of each linkshell and the rules they enforce. When somebody acts in a crude manner, it almost always means that behavior is tolerated somewhere in some LS.

On Seraph this kind of unscrupulous behavior is tolerated in onApalehorse and Heliopolis(in their attempts to deny it, it only becomes more true). I wont name the LS mentioned above since they don't compare to the degree of these.

Well, for me, my home is Tarutaru Revolution II. Great linkshell: both a social linkshell and a linkshell that does missions. There's a variety of levels in the linkshell, and everyone is on good grounds with everyone else.

As for racism and other bad behavior: it's not tolerated. If a member of the ls, offends everyone else, it's in the sackholders best interest to kick them out of the group. As for sackholders, they are nominated by the individual members of the ls. The leader does a really great job of keeping everything organized and I'm happy to be in the ls that I'm in now ^^

Took me about 5 ls's to find my home.
