Well I got up to 4/5 on my god gear recently by getting my Kabuto.



Also some pretty old news... I got 4/5 Relic quite a while back and will probably be finishing up rather soon.

After 3 failed attempts at the Holla boss (not perfect party setups, still learning back then) over a period of 8 months or so, I finally got a win this weekend.

Not only that but we won with 5 ppl (WAR/NIN, WHM/BLM, SMNx2, BLM/WHM) cos our other WAR/NIN who was leading the run up made a fatal mistake of using a warp scroll rather than an Icuras Wing right at the start. That was a shocker, not least for him But we won through and timed our animas perfectly.

Then to top it off, we also did Mea on Sunday (failed twice on Saturday though).

I went on to finish lvling my RNG to 30, so I have some choices to beat DEM with. Just waiting on a friend crafter to make me some Noct+1 gear.

Beating Holla and Mea is like a weight lifted, it really is.

In Yhutunga Jungle, a Goblin smithy attacked us me and my party while we were fighting a mandy everybody was out of mp, low on health and the party was lvl 25-26, we took on the gob regardless... me, the DRG and the SAM kept on voking him from left to right...until he did a bomb toss and we all survived with our HP in the red...that was pure luck.

So far.. today...

Did a successful run on ENM-Dem. Got two members of my LS access to Lufaise Meadows (finally *gasp*), farmed 6 stacks of Ram Leather, then fought Fraelissa and Meteormauler Zhagtegg at lvl 55 Thf with a gimped Rng sub and won! Got a Garde Pick for my collection of random Rare/Ex/Silly items.

Been about my best day in game ever!

At lvl 50THF, I solo'ed the Monastic Cavern Coffer. I used a Skeleton Key. Failed on the first try, lost the key, no Mimic. I got the Hands on the 2nd try! :D WEE!!

Didn't have to use my grand escape plan! heh.

I almost forgot about this thread, but I had to bump it to shout:

I FINALLY OPENED THAT STUPID GARLAIGE CITADEL COFFER AND GOT MY WARLOCK'S TIGHTS! wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooot!

*Ahem* ... Excuse me.

I had been camping the coffer behind the second banishing gate for hours, I guess it kept popping behind the third. ; ; But finally, after about 20 hours straight of camping the coffer, and running around the spawn points and hoping that no one else would beat me to the coffer, I managed to find the damned thing and get my tights. Only two more pieces of AF to go! ^.^

3rd Year anniversary comming up as well. Will happen about the time I get back from Kuwait. Tired of being able to only play 4 days a month at best.

Last night, I, with my brother's help, finally got a Valkurm Emperor claim. 1/1 Valkurm Emperor. Then I headed to Norg, where I rolled a 6 to bring the total to... 400! I won 10k and a dark cluster. My lucky night.

Three deaths, a "main job" change, a few months, and hundreds upon hundreds of lizards later, I finally got my Elshimo Marble tonight.

I also got my chef hat! This is my first guild armor. I have no idea why I got raw fish handling ages ago when I was nowhere near the level to use it at all. But that's okay, 'cause chef hat! Chef hat! Chef hat! ^.^

Edit: Wow, either my monitor at home rocks, or the one at work sucks. That screenshot looks really dark and washed out here.
