easitest way to raise norg fame

bear in mind that there is a rumor that "only the best" negatively affects your norg fame. so if you are a ninja (or wannabe) please be careful.

Well, I think that rumor may be true. The price of riceballs to me has always been 158g (I had done a few zinc ore quests). But today I done the selbina moss quest.

This morning I checked my norg fame by checking the riceball price. It was at 158g (has been for months and never changed).

I bought 8 stacks of Boyhoda moss (spelling?) and traded them to Melyon for the quest. After I had finished it, I checked my sandy fame which had gained a few points and then went to Jeuno.

When I checked the price of riceballs, they had gone to 160g. So I asked my LS if they knew anything about this quest effecting Norg fame and one guy said it didn't and told me that the price can change day-to-day (That was a first to me).

So I bought 4 more stacks and repeated the quest. Checked riceball price again and it had gone to 161g.

I've never saw the price of riceballs change from 158g for about 3 straight months, so I'm pretty sure it DOES alter norg fame.

Also, can anyone tell me if the price of Riceballs can actually change? Like different days effect the prices?

wow this thread is very useful, i need rabao fame badly so i'll do these quests!

i did the windy one, very easy way to get fame10, but had to wait for bastok to get out of last place >.<

Boyhada Moss/Cabbage Repeatable Quest in Selbina does not raise Norg fame. Norg Fame effects how much the Riceballs are priced. Turning in Zinc Ores in Bastok Tenshodo IMO is the easiest way to get the fame you want for the Ninja Scrolls.

Anyway Jifan, Demon_of_Elru is not saying "Only the best" increases Norg fame. He's saying it lowers it (btw, which is the second confirmation I've heard about this so becareful aspiring ninjas).

I think he was asking if doing the Boyhada Moss/Cabbage Repeatable Quest LOWERS Norg fame.

I'd like to know this too as I've been working (albeit slowly) on Norg fame and would hate to screw it up by doing the Selbina quest.

I don't think it lowers your Norg fame, but I did the Selbina Quests for Rabao fame before I did the ones for Norg Fame.
