My LS fought this about 4-5 times now, we got a drop each time.

Setup each time 12-18 people, PLD tanking. Couple of deaths each time, but nothing too bad.

We've killed this 3 times now, with a war/nin tanking with double mambo. No issues at all, weak nm :sweat:

If the war goes down, we have a paladin who takes up kiting until the war is raised.. then continue.



Thats that lovely kraken club style hit in action.. took hate for a second and it took out all my shadows and hp in one hit

It is not easy, but is totally tankable by a ninja; little bit of luck and lots of evasion goes a long way

Charybdis is easy if you tank it with Utsusemi.

yeah we pretty much own this guy every time now. Our ninja is pimped out with some of the best eva gear in the game.

It's really weird how it attacks you with the multi hit. But totally a blast to fight as ninja hahaha.

I tried to tank him.. Didnt go so well. I was too excitied i didnt think to equip earthstaff. really should of done that. Failed, then 1 pt took it out.

NIN, PLD, RDM, BRD, BLM, WHM

12x75 is a decent setup. 18 will be easier and 6 would be hard, very hard.

It IS 100% drop rate sigh, its Lord of Onzozo that got a crappy drop rate.
Unless we got lucky and got Joyeuse 8/8, i call that 100% drop rate.

I good ninja should have no problem with this fight. It attacks very hard, has very powerful attacks, and attacks very fast for a PLD to be much good. We had no problems at all however, maybe it's time for your ninja to upgrade? :confused:

WAR/NIN can tank this one easily with 2 + some help form DRK or BLM on Stun. I think the more people to hit, the harder since it will spam some nasty aoe which can kill mages very fast.

My LS usually 2 WAR/NIN, with double haste song. DRK/THF and THF trick back and forth.

1st time we fought this, only 2 WAR/NIN, 2 RDM/BLM, 1 BRD/WHM, DRK/WAR, WHM/SMN. The fight was going smooth then we got add, I went to take care the add, the no one Stunned the thing.. one WAR/NIN down... over..
