Why shouldn't it be nerfed? I for one call that Ichi as a subbed skill should only do 1 or 2, and Ni should only do 2. Everything else gets halved, so why not ninja's spells? I mean, you arn't a full ninja!

That's like saying Escape for /BLM should only work on yourself or /WHM cures only work at half. It'd be bad.

The difference is that for spells something must be consumed. For mages it's MP, and for NINs it's powders.

I'm biased, but I don't think it's fair to pay 5k a stack for shihei, and then only get 1-2 shadows per casting. Plus, if it's random, you should at least be told how many shadows you'll have.

I've been a thief with a ninja sub for many many months now. Ichi has always given me 3 shadows, just like a ninja main. If it does indeed change with this update, then yes, it's a NEW change. It has NOT always had 1 less shadow.

Obviously you've never used this ability yourself or you'd know, so why blatantly state what you haven't personally used? I do love how rumors get going.

And yes, when you sub Provoke you get less hate than if you were Warrior main. Still hate, though, right?

Utsusemi is still Utsusemi, it not like they took it away completely.

I don't really see why S-E has to nerf everything, though. They are completely uninvolved in this game. GM's do nothing, S-E does nothing.

Not much we can do about it, though.

Um... You do cure for 1/2 if your a level 30 blm you can only cure for as much as a 15 WHM can (if you sub whm). You won't be curing for as much as a 30 whm can if your skill isn't capped.

Actually, this isn't completely true. Use "Cure II" as an example.

It cures for a minimum of 80 or so, and heals a max of 90.

Much more then "1/2" of the whm using Cure 2.

cures are a function of healing skill and MND.
my mnk42/whm15 hals for more with Cure II than when my whm15 is main. and i recall my mnk healing for a tiny bit more when it was lvl 30 too. mnks have a high mnd, so that adds a lot to the heals, but i'm just showing that it's not ONLY based on skill lvl.

from my experience, main provoke and sub provoke cause the same amount of hate, although i have not really tested this.

Yes, but my example is baised off of you being a level 15 whm with 30 blm, you'll have higher mind so of course you'll heal a bit more then a 15 whm, but you won't ... ah forget it -_-;;

YAY NERF THEM...as long as it doesn't affect me!

I was a little pissed when they nerfed TP gain, I was 3 skill from Penta and wasn't of level to use Rampage yet, so I never got to see the uber TP return from a 5 hit WS.

Now that both of these nerfs have directly affected me, I'm starting to feel that Warriors are being targeted because of their super tanking and damage dealing ability at 74-75.

Were WAR/NIN too good that they have to be nerfed?

Well seeing as how you got the FULL status of a main NIN with only sub, I can see how it was a little over powered ^_^ And yes, it effects me too seeing as homw I'm thf/nin

Guess what, I do use it. And it has always been one less for me. Unless it wore it before I was getting the final hit (which I guess is possible, since I don't get hit much as a THF), but from what I observed. Drown my self in misinformation, you fool.
