Why don't create your own name?
I saw many special names in the game like
"d^o^b", "sleepzzzzzzzzzz" <---so many "z" that I can't even count how many he uses...but I do think that it isn't a good name when you try to "tell" him

Hint for the ladies: there's a Japanese Female Names list as well, if you change the url to that effect.

I'm going to start making a backup list in case my name goes before I get on. Although I don't see why it would, it's my own made-up name, and I don't think it's 'from' anywhere...

A letter count would be usefull, my Import will be here tommorow, its in my city, just waiting for residential delivery ^.^

But, I've spent all night looking from names, from all kinds of cultures, and I think I finally found one I like. The Minumum character count would help though. I know its at least 4 letters though.

Anyway, Woo! I'll be playing before the day is over, what a great feeling ^.^

Edit; Well, while looking at screens I see a character named "Koo" So I assume 3 letters is the minimum.
